At 9:00 pm,
Dinning table
"Khana is fab dadi", nona said licking her fingers.
Niharika smiled at her.
"Khana maine banaya hai", sanyukta said faking anger.
Nona struck her tongue out and said, " Sikaya toh dadi ne hoga na."
Everyone stopped eating and looked at sanyukta. She had no expression on her face.
"Sorry bolo sanyukta ko", Dhruv said to nona.
Nona looked at him confused and turned her face yo sanyukta. She saw that sanyukta didn't respond to it. Sanyukta always saved her from his dad's scolding but today she didn't said anything.
She sensed that something was wrong and looked at her dad. Dhruv signalled her to say sorry and cheer up sanyukta.
"I am sorry sanyu. Aur waise bhi aap kuch bhi bano mujhe sab pasand aata. Dadi toh sirf chocolate pudding achi banati hai lekin bewakoof toh hum unhe acha banate hai", nona said and winked at sanyukta.
Sanyukta smiled and kissed her cheek. Everyone smiled at her antics. Only she knew how to make up with sanyukta so fast.
"Acha aab chalo chalkar living area mein baitkar baate karte hai", Vardhan said to divert the topic.
Everyone settled in the living area. Sanyukta made nona sit on her laps.
"Toh competition ki sari tayari ho gyi?", Niharika asked sanyukta while serving the chocolate pudding.
Sanyukta took it and started feeding it to nona. Nono took a bite and licked her lips and made some cute faces.
"Hmm", sanyukta replied smiling at nona's cute face expressions.
"So when are you going? ", Vardhan asked and took up a cup of chocolate pudding.
"Friday evening", Sanyukta said wiping the chocolate from nona's face.
Vardhan stopped eating and looked at Niharika. They decided to go along sanyukta but they have to go to randhir's house for dinner too and that too on Friday.
"But beta Friday ko hame ek dinner par jana hai", Vardhan said.
"Dinner?", Sanyukta asked confused.
"Haan mujhe aur Niharika ko jana hai aur hamne decide kara tha ki hum tere saath chalenge...", Vardhan trailed off.
"No problem baba. Main Friday chali jaungi aur aap sab Saturday ko aa jana. Tab tak main saare arrangements bhi check kar lungi", Sanyukta said.
Niharika all the while was tensed thinking about how to tell her about the KMG project. Dhruv was silently watching niharika's behaviour.
"Ek aur baat batani thi tumhe", Vardhan said and looked at Niharika.
Niharika looked away. She didn't knew what to say.
"Boliye na baba?", sanyukta said while playing with nona.
"Woh KMG project jo hame mila tha woh hum ek company ke saath joint venture mein kar rahe hai", Vardhan said in one go.
Sanyukta stopped her activity and looked at Vardhan in shock. She didn't expected anything like this. She was not able to say anything.
Vardhan knew what she was thinking. He thought to clear her doubt and explain her everything.
"Dekh bacha main janta hu ki yeh tera dream project tha lekin jiss company ke saath maine yeh project karne ka socha hai woh bhi kisika dream pura karna chahta hai. I found that similar too you so maine tujhse bina puche usse haan kardi iss venture ke liye", Vardhan explained her each and everything calmly.
Sanyukta listened to Vardhan peacefully.
"Please mana maat kariyo sanyu", Vardhan requested her.
She was still not properly convinced but she knew Vardhan can never be wrong. So without thinking much she smiled and nodded her head.
"Main janti hu baba aap jo bhi karenge woh hamari company ke liye acha hi hoga. Aur yeh company jitni meri hai usse kahi jyada aapki hai. Aapka pura haq banta hai decision lene ka", Sanyukta said and stood up taking nona in her arms.
Nona has already slept. She looked at everyone and said, "Main nona ko sulakar aati hu."
Niharika nodded and said, "Hum bhi chalte hai. Waise bhi late ho gaya hai."
Everyone left to their respective rooms. Vardhika went to their room when someone knocked the room.
Niharika opened the door to find Dhruv standing.
"Andar aa na Dhruv", Niharika said and came inside with Dhruv.
"Mausi baat kya hai?", Dhruv came directly to the point.
"Kya?", Niharika gave him a confused look.
Vardhan also came out of the washroom till then.
"Arre Dhruv beta, kya hua?", Vardhan asked him.
"Aap log bataiye kya hua hai. Uss joint venture ko lekar kuch baat hui hai aap dono ke bech mein?", Dhruv asked looking at vardhika.
Vardhan looked at Niharika but she again ignored him.
"Dhruv jiss company ke sath vardhan joint venture kar raha hai woh company randhir ki hain", Niharika told him the truth.
Dhruv was shocked listening this. He didn't expected this.
