Jagi, a contract killer, has been killed. Abhijeet is handed an envelope with 3 photos and a puzzle. Shreya believes it could be a contract. Purvi wonders how they'll find the people. Abhijeet deduces that the puzzle is referring to Mahabaleshwar.
The team reaches Mahabaleshwar, where the 2 people who are in the photo are running from someone and reach the edge at a cliff. The watchman goes to stop them, but the 2 jump to their deaths.
The team is in a van. Purvi says they've reached Mahabaleshwar. Shreya mentions it's tourist season. Abhijeet says we'll find them based on what's written on the photo. Daya says we'll start from Arthur Point. Pankaj asks when they're going back. Daya says soon. Abhijeet asks why and Pankaj mentions his mother's strawberry milkshake. Nikhil jokes that Pankaj is feeling hungry. (Chalo Mother's Day ka mention bhi ghus gaya without mentioning it aur ek light-hearted scene bhi ho gaya. It was nice.) Shreya wonders what GP means. Abhijeet says whatever it is, it's in Mahabaleshwar and we'll find it.
The team stop to ask for directions and then reach Arthur Point or Suicide Point. Pankaj asks how will we find these 3 people. Abhijeet and Daya explain using his childhood travel as an example and suggests they may be tourists. Nikhil asks what if they are locals and the duo says no problem. The team starts showing the photos around while Pankaj gets something to eat as well. The duo find someone who recognizes the couple who jumped.
***FLASHBACK***
The couple are enjoying the golla when the girl sees something. The 2 start running without paying the golla wala.

(Why oh why do we get unnecessary flashbacks?!!)
The duo ask for time and they are told around noon. They ask for direction and after paying the golla wala for the couple they head towards Suicide Point. (Aww that was a sweet move.) The security guard stops the team and says that a couple jumped from here yesterday. The team go to the edge and look down to see a steep incline. The guard says that he went to eat lunch and when he came back they jumped in front of him around noon. Purvi shows the 2 photos and the guard recognizes them instantly. Abhijeet asks if anyone else was around here and Daya asks if he's sure they jumped and weren't pushed. The guard reiterates that he saw them jump alone. Then Daya shows the third photo and Jagi's photo, but the guard doesn't recognize them. Abhijeet says that we need to find this third man because his life is in danger now.
In Mumbai's bureau, Sachin tells ACP Pradyuman about the 2 men. The man who may be alive is Ranveer, a hotelier, and he's in Mahabaleshwar to open his new hotel, The Grand Palace. ACP Pradyuman deduces that GP must be Grand Palace. The guy who jumped is Aryan, studying photography, and is in Mahabaleshwar with his classmates. ACP Pradyuman gets a call from Abhijeet about the 2 committing suicide. (Err why is ACP Pradyuman wearing shades in the bureau? Is the Star Wars bureau really bright?)
Back in Mahabaleshwar, Abhijeet, Purvi, and Pankaj reach a hotel to meet the photography students. The students come out and they say they didn't know where Aryan was going and would tell them when he came back. Abhijeet tells them that Aryan and a girl are dead. They say that Aryan loved a girl here in Mahabaleshwar and wanted to marry her, but they didn't know the name or what she looked like. Abhijeet says someone must know her if she's from this city.
Daya, Shreya, and Nik (these 3 are always together 🥱) and are heading towards a boating site to meet Ranveer, whose still alive because Jagi is dead.
Ranveer is setting up a boating event when his guard gets shot. Ranveer jumps in the water to save himself, but never comes up. Then the man organizing the event sees blood.
Abhijeet, Purvi, and Pankaj reach a site and start showing around the photo sure that someone will recognize it. (How can you be so sure? Mahabaleshwar is probably a big city with lots of people.) A man recognizes her as Vaani. Purvi lies that she's her friend, but she lost the address. The man says that her daughter is studying because of Vaani. The man asks why they are asking. Pankaj is about to say why, but Abhijeet interrupts and keeps the story going. (That was a sweet move. Why give the bad news to someone who think so highly of Vaani and will be devastated?) Abhijeet gets a call from Daya about Ranveer missing.
Divers are searching for Ranveer in the water as Shreya examines the boat and Nik examines Ranveer's car. Daya is pacing in anxiety back and forth. (What no questioning either?) The divers find a body, which is the bodyguard's. Shreya doesn't find anything in the boat. The event manager is glad that Ranveer is safe. (I'm not sure if it's Ranveer or Ranbir so I'll use Ranveer.) Daya says that the guard, Hemant, was shot from the back and it came out the front and it must be a sniper gun. Nik brings out a toll receipt from Phalton to Mahabaleshwar. Phalton is where Jagi's body was found. Daya tells the divers to check again, while they go to see where the bullet was shot from.
The 3 reach the other end of the lake and start looking around. Shreya finds something and points out dragging marks. They start following the drag marks. Shreya wonders who was dragged, when Daya finds fresh blood. Nik says it can't be Hemant's. Shreya wonders if it's from the shooter. A little further they find a mobile and the manager recognizes it as Ranveer's. Shreya thinks Ranveer was kidnapped. Nik finds 2 oxygen masks and 2 cylinders. Daya realizes that Ranveer was kidnapped from the water and recounts how Ranveer was kidnapped. (I suspect the manager to be involved since he told Ranveer that his life is in danger.) Shreya says that means there were 2 people. Daya says exactly and one knows everything about this lake.
Daya, Shreya, and Nik question the boatmen. One boatman says Munna is missing and he's probably drunk. Nik wonders why people named Munna are always problematic. Daya asks for his address.
Abhijeet, Purvi, and Pankaj reach Vaani's mother's shop and meet Vaani's brother. Vaani's brother asks if they brought news because Vaani has been missing for 2 months. They find out that Vaani and Ranveer used to be in love, but then Vaani found out that Ranveer was already married to Neeta. And even though Vaani broke off all relations, Ranveer kept after Vaani. At this time Abhijeet tells her brother that Vaani is no more. He adds that Vaani and Aryan committed suicide, but the brother can't believe it. Abhijeet says we'll find out what happened. Purvi suggests that maybe Ranveer went after Aryan and Vaani.
Sachin, Freddy, and Jaywanti reach Neeta's house (And of course the door is open.) and they find out that Neeta has divorced Ranveer. Jaywanti says that Vaani broke all relations though. But Neeta says that Vaani stil called a month ago. Jaywanti tells her that Vaani committed suicide. Sachin shows Aryan's photo and Neeta says that she saw Ranveer keeping this photo in an envelope once. Then they show Jagi's photo and say they suspect Ranveer killed him accidentally.
Abhijeet, Purvi, and Pankaj reach Munna's house to find it locked. Abhijeet jimmies the lock and the 3 get in. They find the closet empty. Pankaj finds a photo. Abhijeet tells Pankaj to send a photo to Mumbai. (Err...how do you know he'll run to Mumbai?) Abhijeet tells Daya.
Daya, Nik, and Shreya are at the bus depot and see Munna. Munna sees them and recognizes them as CID and makes a run for it. (Err...how does he recognize Mumbai CID?) The 3 give chase and reach Suicide Point where Munna gets caught. Daya slaps him.
In Mumbai, in the bureau, ACP Pradyuman says that the phone records are not normal, but rather steps to lead to the solution. He and Sachin discuss something about catching someone.
Daya hangs Munna and asks for the truth. Daya pulls Munna back up and says that he got a lot of money to kidnap Ranveer and leave him at Lodrick Point. He doesn't recognize the person because the person was wearing an overcoat and a mask. Munna gives Daya a photo and the note on the photo and the original photo are the same. Daya tells Nik to hand him into the local police and they'll go to Lodrick Point.
Some goons are laughing as Ranveer is crying and begging to be left. A girl in an overcoat and a mask says that he has deceived a lot of girls. Ranveer says that he's changed, but the girl says today she'll take revenge for everyone and will kill him. Ranveer says that he'll accept everything in front of the police and the wife and to leave him. The girl tells her men to open him and starts counting to 10 to let Ranveer run. (I like that this revenge track didn't open up until now. At least it wasn't as predictable.) On the other side, the 6 officers are walking towards the point as well. The girl fires a shot at Ranveer's leg and the 6 officers hear and start rushing towards the sound as the girl and the goons head towards Ranveer.
The girl reveals her face to be Vaani. She points her gun and fires. Ranveer falls down, supposedly dead as Vaani starts laughing. The officers point their guns at Vaani and she tries to kill herself, but she gets saved.
Vaani reveals that Ranveer used his power and money to make her follow what he wants. She joined Aryan and gave Jagi money to kill Ranveer, but Ranveer paid Jagi twice the money to kill them. But Jagi refused and Ranveer killed him. They didn't know that Ranveer was alive though and when they saw him alive near the golla wala they ran from there. (This is shown in flashback.) In flashback we see that Arjun and Vaani jump, but Vaani survived when she got stuck in a branch and a man saved her. She decided to take revenge. Daya reminds her that law provides the true justice. Abhijeet says she isn't any less criminal than Ranveer now.
