But the thing is he is hurt by her words but he still takes her to bed tuck her 

He is still their to comfort her she come to his bed he hesitated but he still holds her 

He knows tht is the only way for her to be comforted feel safe and sleep

the first line itself took my breath away and i knew that there is something big when i read "love doesn't hurt but expectations do".

The fight was like really very difficult to read but i guess by the end they realised that to overcome all the obstacles they need to trust each other and always support each other, only then will they able to succeed.
