It took him a year and more
To feel confident and sure
But still he could not say
Either by night or day
Which every lover ya wife
Is dying to hear all her life
That one and only line
Which is and sounds divine
Now why did he take so long
A man like him bold and strong
Have you wondered why
Or even for explanation try
When feelings are true and sincere
And not really just for show mere
They are attached directly
And held very tightly
By your being and heart
Jealously guarded and loathe to part
Those three magic words
Are better felt than heard
When it comes to the real thing
PDA is not the way to bring
To serve his feelings just by lip
It would seem flippant and flip
For his feelings run deep and true
Of which outsiders have no clue
The confession is more sacred
And far above any pledge
So he took his time alright
Even fates conspired put in their mite
And sent interruptions right on time
And made them both in despair whine.
Yet he prolonged till the last
Then came Destiny's blast
Work indeed he cannot shirk
It was indeed Fate's quirk
So before he went
On his knees he bent
His defences had crumbled
His heart with heaviness rumbled
He said I love you ,saw magic in her eyes
Held her in his arms-It was time to say goodbye
He rued if only he had said it before
There would have been a chance for more
But still its not too late
The show is top rate
So let us wait a bit
For them to re meet
