Part 7
The task carried on...
Arnav in the lead with four keys... followed by Mukti who going back for her fifth key... everyone was followed behind quickly...
Beep!! The alarmed sounded...Arnav had fallen off...
"Arnav you have been eliminated from the competition..." Big Brother called.
Arnav who was disappointed in himself went off to join Manik...
"Congratulations Mukti you are the new Head of Household..." Big Brother called.
Everyone came over to congratulate Mukti... Manik walked back to the house not bothering to meet Mukti... everyone else then followed him back to the house...
Later On
Mukti came out of the diary room and called...
"Who wants to see my HOH room??" She said excitedly... everyone followed her upstairs to her room except Manik who walked out into the garden...
They all entered the room and were in awe at all of Mukti's pictures of her family and friends... also they picked at Mukti's snack and food...
Nandini who was in the shower downstairs did not see anyone and figured that everyone went upstairs to see Mukti's HOH room... so she decided to make her way upstairs... as she was about to go upstairs she saw Manik in the garden alone... she took a deep breath and instead of going upstairs she went into the garden...
"Hey..." she called to Manik.
He looked around to see Nandini standing there
"Everyone's upstairs... if you want to come..." She said slowly.
"Thanks... but I'm okay..." Manik replied turning his back on her.
Nandini became annoyed and instead of going back inside she decided to confront Manik on what his problem was...
"What is your problem...?" She said annoyed.
"I don't have a problem..." Manik replied.
"Well clearly you do... why are you separating yourself from everyone... you are making yourself a target... if you really want to leave the game then just quit..." Nandini said matter of factly.
"I'm not a quitter..." Manik replied.
"Then why are you deliberately making yourself the house's target?" Nandini questioned.
"I didn't do it on purposely... you don't know what it feels like to be all alone in this game... from the first week... I was the only one who was alone... you girls had each other... Samrath had Mukti and Swayam and Arnav hung out with Abhi because he was HOH... I was the only one who had no one... except you... I felt that if there was anyone I really was close to it was you... then you betrayed me making your own alliance... how did you expect me to feel..." Manik said everything that was going through his head these last two weeks...
"I didn't choose to be alone... Nandini..." Manik said.
Nandini felt sorry for Manik... he really was alone in this game...
Upstairs HOH room
The boys had left leaving Taani and Roshni with Mukti...Mukti sat up; "Hey where is Nandini?" she asked.
"No idea... she wasn't even up here when everyone else was..." Roshni added.
"Hmmm... neither was Manik..." Taani added.
Just then Nandini knocked on the door; Mukti answered the door...
"Hey where were you?" Mukti asked.
"Umm I was just downstairs..." Nandini said slowly.
"Where you with Manik?" Roshni asked...
"Yeah I was telling him to come up..." Nandini confessed.
"Seriously Nandini... after everything that had happened..." Mukti said sighing.
"I know but..." Nandini started but Mukti cut in...
"No nothing... it's my HOH and Manik will be leaving this week..."Mukti said finally...
Downstairs...
Abhi, Arnav and Swayam was hanging out at the pool table.
"I wonder who Mukti will put on the block..." Arnav said.
"Yeah I mean I am happy for her but... I know at least one of us will be on the block this week..." Swayam said quietly even though no one was around...
"Well I think for definite Mukti is going to put up Manik...that's her target this week..." Abhi said.
"Let's just hope everything goes to plan..." Arnav said.
"Yeah..." Swayam replied.
Later on
Roshni was trying to reach up high for a glass but she could not reach it... she tried to stand on tiptoe but could still not reach it...
"Hey careful there..." Arnav said as he saw Roshni about to injure herself...
"Hey Arnav... I just can't reach that glass..." She huffed.
"Wait I will get it for you..." Arnav said he got the glass with ease... and handed it to Roshni who was about to take it but Arnav held it up high for her to reach it...
"Awww please..." Roshni said with smile.
"You have to reach it..." Arnav teased...Roshni pouted and turned away.
"Aww fine... here..." Arnav took Roshni's hands and placed the glass in her hand.
"Thanks..." She said Arnav smile back at her and walked away...
Roshni stared at Arnav as he walked away...
Swayam was in the garden; he walked over to Taani who was sitting with her foot in the swimming pool...
"Hey Taani... you are looking happy?" Swayam said as he joined her...
"Of course... Mukti is HOH and I know she is the best person to be HOH so no worries..." Taani said to Swayam...
"Oh wow so now Mukti is your best friend... I see your friendship..." Swayam said teasing Taani.
"Oh please... stop your drama..." Taani said hitting Swayam on his shoulder...
"Yeah Mukti is great... she is a very strong player..." Swayam said slowly.
"Uh huh I am so glad Mukti is in our alliance..." Taani said.
"Oh really... so much confidence..." Swayam said.
"Yup..." Taani said.
They continued to laugh and hang out together...
Abhi walked up the stairs... Mukti had called him up... he wondered why... he knocked on the door...
Mukti opened the door to allow him inside...
"Hey what's up?" Abhi asked as he came into the room... Mukti turned around to face him...
"I need to talk to you..." Mukti said seriously.
"Umm ok..." Abhi answered.
"Before Samrath left he said something about you, Swayam and Arnav being in an alliance..." Mukti said... she watched closely for a reaction from Abhi but he was also good enough to hide it...
"Really?" Abhi said he looked closely at her; he did not want to lie to Mukti...
"Yes... and I want you to tell me the truth..." Mukti said pointedly... she waited for him to
turn around...
Abhi waited a little while before answering...
"Yeah... the three of us are in an alliance..." Abhi said turning around and staring Mukti in
her eyes...she smiled...
"Okay... thanks for telling me the truth..." Mukti said smiling.
Abhi was unsure about the look on Mukti's eyes...
"I have something that I need you to do..." Mukti said.
"Go on..." Abhi said... he had a very bad feeling about this...
"I am going to nominate Manik... but for my second nominee... I want you to name one of your alliance members to put up on the block..." Mukti said the smile gone... she said it seriously...
"No way... I cannot do that..." Abhi said.
"Unfortunately... you have not got a choice..." Mukti said...
Abhi stared back at Mukti...
Later on
Afterwards it was time for the nominations; Mukti had been given a round case in which had 8 keys; her task was to take out two keys which had the names of people she wanted to nominate. Once she had chosen the two names for nomination she replaced the other keys into the slots then lifted the round case and brought it downstairs and laid on the dining table and called out to all the houseguests to join him. They all settled down and waited eagerly for the nominations to begin.
"This is the Nomination Ceremony...one of my duties as Head Of Household is to nominate two people for eviction...the two people who are nominated...their keys have already been taken out...I will pull the first key and that person is safe...the person whose name I call will pull the next key to save someone else...and so on and so forth..." Mukti explained.
They all nodded and waited nervously for the nominations to begin.
Mukti pulled the first key and called out "Taani you are safe..." Taani thanked her and then pulled the next key.
"Roshni you are safe..." she thanked Mukti and pulled the next key.
"Nandini you are safe..."she also thanked Mukti and pulled the next key.
"Arnav you are safe..." he thanked Mukti and pulled the last key.
"Swayam you are safe..." he thanked Mukti
Swayam sat down and Mukti stood up
"I have nominated you Manik and you Abhi for nominations... I have nominated you Manik because of the stunt you pulled last week... Abhi I nominate you because you are a strong contestant..."
Swayam and Arnav looked at each other and then at Abhi... they knew how Abhi felt for Mukti so to be put up by her...
"This nomination ceremony is adjourned..." Mukti said.
Everyone got up to meet the two nominated contestants.
Abhi met his friends with a smile... Mukti looked over at Abhi... her respect for him had risen as Abhi had nominated himself for nominations over his friends...
Coming up see who the MVP puts up as th third nominee and see what happens at the POV and which houseguest will save themselves from the chopping block
