I think shyam was planning to give her another dose of warning,  so he comes and speaks to payal as kushi is on trip and payal blasts him..and later tells this over the phone to kushi and this is the convo between payal and kushi.. i know you are lol after reading this.. but i couldn't guess anything else bcoz kushi definitely will not call arnav a dog and only shyam deserves that.. or it could be other way round like shyam alling up kushi and this could be convo between payal and kushi over phone. .

Or in the looong way, may be Lavanya acting bitchy & said something to Arnav & when her friend was trying to make her understand, she is using such pathetic words against our dearest Arnav.
