A year later...*tring*tring*
The phone rang in singhania mansion...
K: "Raghav answer the phone! I'm busy here.. kalpi shouted from upstairs.
Raghav who was scrolling through the business documents in his iPad removed his reading glasses and went to pick the phone.
R: "Hello.. Raghav Singhania here..
G: " Raghav beta, mom here. how r u?, gauri asked.
R: " Mom... what yaar mom? when r u coming back? how many days u will stay with Lalitha maasi? come home na.., he whined like a child.
G: " arre.. what happened to my son? suddenly missing me this much? is ur wife not taking a good care of u?, she asked teasingly.
R: " yeah.. yeah.. taking good care? she resigned being my wife and become a 24 hours mother.., he complained.
Kalpi who came there a few seconds ago slapped his arm..
R: " ooucchh!!, and he received a glare from kalpi.
Kalpi snatched the phone from him.
K: " hi mom.. how r u?
G: "Im fine beta. how r u and how's my little riddu?
(Ridham Singahia, 2 months.. Ragna's baby boy.. named ridham after kalpi's brother who died young because of cancer.. fondly called as rid or riddu..)
K: "yeah mom.. im fine and ur little riddu is missing his daadi so much..
G: " aww.. i cant wait to see him again too beta.. but what to do lalitha's health hasn't improved yet and there's nobody to look after her here... i will come back as soon as she recovers..
K: " ok mom... take care.. love u.. bye mom..
G: " ok kalpi beta.. bye.. i will call you some other day.
R: " Baby.. i have a meeting in an hour.. so, i will see you in the evening.. and yeah, my maya called.. she will be here with disha(remember sammy and maya's daughter, 10 years) around 6 in the evening.. sammy and i join u guys after work..
K: " ok raghav.. see u later
Raghav hugged and gave a quick peck on her lips and walked outside.. Kalpi smiled watching him going away before walking upstairs to her son.

At night...
Raghav came back home after work. he walked to the bedroom straight because he knew that his beloved wife and son would be there.
K: "Riddu baby.. oh my sweetheart.. mumma loves you so much... mumma loves you even more than mumma loves papa...", she said knowing raghav is there.
Riddu giggled more hearing his mothers pampering making raghav feel insecure.
R: " oh really?", he asked giving a glare to his wife.
K: " Raghav.. when did u come back?", she asked trying to hold her laughter.
R: " When u said u love riddu more than me..", saying so he turned her back towards her and started to untie his tie in anger.
kalpi woke and went in front of him as he was struggling to untie his tie in anger. she pulled his hands away from the tie and helped him untie. raghav everted his eyes away from kalpi in anger.
K: " Arrey baba.. i was just joking. i saw u coming in the bedroom. so just tried to pull your leg.. right riddu? ", she asked her son while he just giggled.
R: " sachi? promise? so u love me more than you love riddu na? ", he asked with an innocent baby face.
k:" oh baby.. i love you both the same..."
R: " no.. say u love me more..", he protested like a child.
K: " god.. seriously? fine.. i love you more.. more than riddu.. more than anyone in this universe. happy?", she said pulling his cheeks.
R: " very happy.. see riddu your mumma loves me more...", he told his son while kalpi just shook her head seeing his childishness in competing with his own son..
