I don't think the verdict was overturned but the punishment.

And no, this doesn't say anything about the verdict but it says a lot about the judicial system itself and how a powerful man with money can pull any strings and get away with crimes.

The Great Indian Circus continues...😕...you got power and money, you can get away with virtually anything. No surprises there!

RIP - "the victory of the common man" and "Law is equal for all" 😕

How many commoners would have got interim bail within hours of being pronounced guilty? 🥱 They would have been shipped off to rot in jail that very day and then waited for weeks till a High Court bench comes back after their summer break.

Aaarrrghhh!

Power and money win!!

Who were those individuals that jumped on us for being skeptical of Salman actually paying for his crimes...well...our prediction was correct. We were called "haters" for thinking that he will one way or another escape this. What now?!

Kudos to the judge who stood up and declared him guilty. He was the most sensible and honest person out of all.

Everyone else involved who helped this criminal get away free, shame on you. 👎🏼

m now more scared for the one who accused him, it wouldn't be surprised if we come to know he passed away in few months

They said that he was punished because he's a celebrity to show there's no difference when it comes to the law between the common man and a powerful one. Furthermore, it was mentioned that many other people who committed similar crimes are also roaming free.

Well, I ask those celebrities now, would any common get away with a similar crime like this? Would any common man be granted bail within 2 hours by HIGH COURT and then subsequently be promptly released from his punishment?

Isnt there something called precedence in courts of law?

I hope next time any drunk driver runs over a person, that commoner will get away with vehicular manslaughter because Salman's case will be a precedent!
Happy Mowing down, Drunk Drivers! Cheers! 👏

And Salman is already drunk partying at his home!
shame on salman, no respect left for this loser, he is a criminal, killed a person, injured others, was drunk driving and he was driving with no license, ran away from the crime and even made a deal with his driver! yet he is not punished.

Just shows that if you are powerful and got money then you can get away with anything in India!
