Salman Khan is a softie with a tough exterior. The man has a heart of gold. Even though he may have had a few run-ins with the law, Salman is genuinely one of the most large-hearted people in the film industry and that is something everybody in the fraternity vouches for. He may always play the tough guy or the action hero onscreen but he is extremely emotional too. Here is something that happened last night which proves what we say...

Salman Khan was at the LightBox theatre late last night catching a special screening of his film Bajrangi Bhaijaan. We hear that the actor teared up while watching the film. Some might wonder why Salman, who is the lead in the film, cried while watching his own movie, it was because it was the first time he had watched the entire story in totality on the big screen and was overwhelmed by emotions to see that Bajrangi Bhaijaan has turned out to be so brilliant.

Salman plays Pavan in the Kabir Khan film and Kareena Kapoor Khan plays his love-interest Rasika. The story is about a young deaf and mute girl getting lost at the India-Pakistan border and Salman's promise to get her safely back home in Pakistan. The story-line is absolutely heart-warming and we can tell why Salman must have teared up while watching the movie! We cannot wait to watch it either!

Awww This already made me emotional . I am sure BB gonna be Heart touching story . CAN'T WAIT !!

Salman Khan-Kabir Khan jodi touted as the biggest jodi in Bollywood

New Delhi: Salman Khan is all set to get his fans drenched in the colours of Bajrangi Bhaijaan this Eid.

After the release of teaser, trailer and songs, the movie has created much hype and excitement among the viewers, who have carved high expectations from the movie.

However, apart from Salman what makes Bajrangi Bhaijaan' special is the actor-director jodi. While Salman Khan spells the magic on-screen it is Kabir Khan, man behind the camera, who directs the show.

It is for the second time that Salman and Kabir have paired up for a movie. The duo has earlier worked together in 2012 for Ek Tha Tiger', which did phenomenally well at the box office.

This time also, viewers are expecting a mega show from the Salman-Kabir pairing.

Some of the fans have even compared Salman-Kabir jodi to preceding actor-director jodis like Shah Rukh-Yash Chopra, David Dhawan-Govinda and Amitabh-Prakash Mehra.

Well! It will be clear only after the movie releases whether Salman -Kabir are able to recreate the magic.

Salman-Kabir truly are amazing together . They have Great Repo with each other , Are great Friends , & understands each other so well when it comes to their Profession 👍🏼 . I would wish to see them third time together as well .

Earlier too, Salman's songs like Dhinka chika, Jumme ki raat and Hangover have forged a strong connect with the masses. However, this will be the first time the makers have decided to shoot a song which won't be a part of the story-telling.

Eid is Salman Khan's lucky date. All the films-- Wanted (September 18, 2009), Dabangg (September 10, 2010), Ek Tha Tiger (August 15, 2012) and Kick (July 25, 2014)" which released during the festival went on to become huge earners.

The actor is leaving no stone unturned to ensure that his upcoming film, Bajrangi Bhaijaan, is this Eid's big attraction. Two weeks before the film opens, he has started shooting a special video song, Aaj ki party meri taraf se, in Mumbai. It will release next week.

Buzz is, Sallu has crooned the Pritam composition. But Mirror has learnt that it's actually Mika Singh who has lent his voice to the track. It is penned by Shabbir Ahmed and choreographed by Remo D'souza.

Earlier too, Salman's songs like Dhinka chika, Jumme ki raat and Hangover have forged a strong connect with the masses. However, this will be the first time the makers have decided to shoot a song which won't be a part of the story-telling.

Confirming this, director Kabir Khan says, "The idea was to come up with a celebratory song for Eid which would not be incorporated in the film. But you will see both Salman and Kareena dancing to the party number in the video."
