After a great success with "Kick," Salman Khan is ready to make another hit with Kareena Kapoor in "Bajrangi Bhaijaan." Now that they are back in Kashmir, getting close to finishing the film, there have been reports that their release date was being pushed back due to the actor's final verdict for his hit-and-run case.
The cast and crew have been filming in Kashmir for some time, and now Khan has returned to the city to continue shooting for Kabir Khan's movies. Many fans were anticipating for an Eid release, however, that allegedly wasn't going to happen since they still have to film certain parts due to floods in the region and Salman's trail.
The film was reportedly pushed from July to September, however, Kabir recently took to Twitter to shut down the rumors.
"#BajrangiBhaijaan is definitely releasing this Eid... The media reports are rubbish.." tweeted Kabir today.
Salman and the director were recently photographed in the snowy heights of Zoji La on Wednesday.
The director posted a picture of the two of them on the Srinagar-Leh highway and tweeted, "Minus 2 degrees... 11700 ft above sea level.. Zoji La pass.. Kashmir #BajrangiBhaijaan."
The cast and crew are shooting for the last schedule of the film and have resumed their schedule after the Bombay High Court suspended Salman's five-year jail sentence for the 2002 hit-and-run case.
While the crew waits on Kapoor to fly into Kashmir for filming, Salman has been shooting for a few action sequences.
Salman, Kapoor and director Kabir Khan were shooting in Rajasthan previously and while they are getting closer to wrapping up the film, they are excited to release the film's first teaser trailer.
"In Kashmir for the last schedule of #BajrangiBhaijaan :-) The teaser trailer coming soon now..." tweeted Kabir.
Nawazuddin Siddiqui, who also stars in the film, will be shooting an action-packed sequence.
The movie began shooting last November in Delhi and despite the reports that it was in post-production, but it looks like the cast and crew still plan on finishing in time for Eid.
The film is reportedly about a father-daughter bonding, and we will see the paternal side of Salman after a long time. Fans have already gotten the hint that the film will have a lot of action sequences thanks to Salman's photos being uploaded.
