Chapter 5- Part 1

Furious was the least word to describe what Aman was feeling after Rajat's proposal...

But one look on Arnav face made him lost his voice. He was

 surprised to see Arnav was nothing but calm but as usual no 

one can read ASR .

Taking a deep breath Rajat said ASR, like 

every parents we also want our daughter to 

live a happy and prosperous life. We have 

worked with you time to time and I know 

you are a man of your word plus your family 

Raizada is very honourable in the society. It 

gives us an assurance that our daughter will 

have a happy life. 

   Arnav sat morosely contemplating and 

recalled what his jiju had told him at airport. 

After 5 mins silence which felt ages ASR with 

the proud smirk said Mr Gupta, I know perk 

of Raizada name. However you will hear from us by tomorrow 

saying this Arnav bluntly get up and left.

Aman followed him in quick steps and said ASR wait.

Hearing Aman's voice from behind Arnav 

just closed his eyes to calm himself and turn 

to Aman and said Aman, no one means no 

one including di should know about the 

proposal and I mean it.

Seeing Aman's nod in agreement Arnav left. 

Arnav went for a long drive; the clam ocean is turned into 

a typhoon and today the drive is not helping him. Mr Gupta's 

proposal was keep on repeating.. How dare anyone question 

his ability.. And marriage has no place in his life. He doesn't 

believe in it.  Enrage with all these thoughts he was driving at high 

speed and then suddenly he stop the SUV with screech sound his 

knuckles were almost white with the pressure. He closed his eyes 

and rested his head back on the seat.

His ringing phone brings him back and seeing Aman name he 

picked up the call and said yes Aman. 

If you are done with your fast and furious and let's go home yaar, 

Aman said in pleading voice.

"What The"Aman ! saying Arnav turned back and saw Aman's car.

Aman, what the hell is you doing here Arnav said while walking 

towards him.

Aman came out and said oh hello after the meeting the way you 

move out do you think I will leave you alone. 

Seeing a smile on Arnav's face Aman said let's go home before 

Anjali di send whole Delhi police in search of her chote.

When they reached at RM, Arnav told Aman to stay for tonight. 

Settling him in the guest room, Arnav left for his room but 

thought to check on di, so he went to her room and saw his di saw 

crying holding their mother's photo...

"I am sorry mamma I failed you. I am neither a good daughter

 nor a good sister. You have given chote's responsibility to me but 

I couldn't fulfil it properly.  I failed to heal his wounded heart 

mamma. He hides all his pain behind his ASR's mask.  I and nani 

had tried to convince him for marriage but he never listen, 

mamma please forgive I am not able to fulfil your wish". 

  Seeing his di in this state shook Arnav to the core.  Somehow he 

reached to his room and closed the door.  He sat on the bed and 

took out his mother's photo from the drawer and looking at it he 

started weeping. He can't stand a tear in his di's eye and right now 

he is the reason. After his mother his di is his world. She is 

blaming herself for his decisions.  

Looking at the photo he said Mamma please forgive your chote, 

unknowingly I am hurting you and di. Mamma not for a minute I 

have forgotten all the hardship, heartache, betrayal and 

sufferings. You knew mamma your chote never believe in 

marriage then why you wish it? 

Arnav was totally drained out and he didn't know when he fall 

asleep. Arnav was restless and tossing on the bed, his breath was 

laboured. He was standing in the middle of a room and Rajat was 

saying Married man is bankable... his di crying and saying I am 

not a good daughter..  his mamma saying Always take care of your 

di...then he saw a shadow laughing on him  and saying you are 

worthless..then he saw his mother crying and saying you are not 

my chote . My chote always fulfil his mother and di's wish.. Then 

he heard her mamma saying I am taking my Anju with me... 

Shouting Di , he woke up and realised it was a nightmare.

He ran to his di's room and felt relief after seeing her sleeping. 

With shivering legs he reached to him room, his body was damp 

with perspiration. .. The he saw the time it was 5am. He knew he 

won't be able to sleep now so he left for his gym. After 1.5 hrs

 when his body gave up he came to his room and soak himself in 

the Jacuezzi and let the warm water soothe him.
