In the recent episode of Meri Aashiqui, we saw RV burning off Ishaani's pictures and other things related to her. He decides to mark the occasion as the day he got rid of Ishaani for good. While Ritika witnesses the happenings with a puzzled state, RV makes an announcement to celebrate the day. He brings yummy food for Ritika and feeds her with his hand. He makes it clear that to welcome their baby, they must throw out the junk aka Ishaani.
At Shikhar's place, Ishaani is given the responsibility to make preparations for Mrs and Mr Mehra's wedding anniversary party. Ishani happily takes up the charge of looking after the arrangements. Baa and Kanchan decide to declare Devarsh and Krisha's wedding date during the party. Amba receives a telephonic invitation from Shikhar's family for the anniversary party. However, Amba turns down the invite by making lame excuse. RV learns about the party and shown interest in attending the bash. Ritika finds the idea absurd and rubbishes the thought of attending the party by arguing there is no point in it because RV will have a face-off again with Ishaani. RV, however, reasons that when he has thrown Ishaani out of his memory, he does not care if she is around or not.
On the other hand, Ishaani gets on her feet to fix up minor issues at the party venue. Shikhar joins her to lend a helping hand. He gets engrossed looking at Ishaani and begins feeling closer to her.
