Yes. Today it will most probably become 3rd highest grosser of 2015 beating Badlapur..

Saw Piku last night...It was super awesome... Deepika, Irfaan and AB were amazing in the movie...script was also good and the movie hall was housefull 😳

#Correction - #MaryKom (64 cr) and not # #Queen (62cr) is highest female centric grosser. So #Piku would have to beat that.

Okay so I watched this movie and well, I loved it so much, I booked tickets for next week. This is the first time I'm watching a non-Ranbir movie for the second time at the theatres. But yeah kudos to Amitabh and Deepika and Irfan ~ such an ordinary story but such brilliant acting.

Piku showed good growth on Saturday as it grossed around 4.5 crore nett. The failure of Bombay Velvet aided business. The second week first two day business of Piku is as follows.

Friday - 2,75,00,000

Saturday - 4,50,00,000

TOTAL - 7,25,00,000

The film is now looking at the best second weekend of the year if it can manage to add least 5.50 crore nett on Sunday..

Piku is going rock steady earned awesome collection on Saturday.
This film is just doing wonderful and fabulous business at BO and stunned ppl who didnt thought that Piku will do this good business.

Why is no one reporting the overseas collection??We only know the 1st weekend collection which was 14cr. No reports after that...

Also, this is the FIRST EVER BOLLYWOD FEMALE CHARACTER I could relate to. I hated Deepika and still dont like her offscreen but oh well, I gotta admit, she's a powerhouse of talent now. Love how she emotes with just a single glance. 

The only downside of the movie is that it made me too emotional and sad but other than that, it was such a simple but so so beautiful. 👏

 

Don't worry. You has a right to hate her and nobody will kill you for that.😊
