Piku To Do Well At Multiplexes; Kuch Kuch Locha Hai In The Mass Belts : Trade Experts
It's Friday and the screens have new cinema to show. The upcoming weekend gives for a choice to the cinema goers with two diametrically opposite films Piku and Kuch Kuch Locha Hai.
With Piku starring the powerhouse performers like Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone and Irrfan Khan and the latter stars Sunny Leone, who has manage to get good audiences, and Ram Kapoor; it will be quiet interesting to see which film will lead and result good numbers in their own space.

Piku will do extremely well and will go from strength to strength at the Box Office. The marketing & promotions have created the desired buzz. Kuch Kuch Locha Hai will do well specially in the mass belts. So it goes without saying Piku will take a head start & lead all the way.

Courtesy the drastic difference between the audience bases that the two films cater to, I certainly see them co-existing smoothly at the cinemas. While Piku will do a lot better at the multiplexes and the top grade single screens, Kuch Kuch Locha Hai should draw in the audience at mass centers and notch up decent numbers. However, between the 2, I see Pikuas the film which will have a relatively longer shelf life at the cinemas courtesy a positive word of mouth, which is already making the rounds after the preview screenings.
