Reporter is an emotionally charged drama woven around the lives of two people finding love in a complex world of journalism ... where there is no right or wrong way of looking at news AND life.

KKN appointed Kabir as editor in chief. Ananya who thought Kabir as his ideal was happy with this and impressed by his news presentation about minister who forcefully married a girl.
But they smashed with each other on Nidhi Rahe case who was accused of being a sex worker. Ananya brought a statement of Nidhi which proved her innocent but Kabir refused to telecast it. Ananya called Kabir corrupt and signed her resignation. In mean time, he telecasted statement with his sting operation. Ananya felt bad and decided to took back her resignation but Kabir approved it. She asked Kabir to give her job back but he asked her to prove her worth in 24 hrs. She proved herself by exposing a corrupt national tennis seceratry...
