Neil calls Ragini and asks her to meet him. He'll be waiting at the same spot where she always waited for him. Ragini agrees after being a bit hesitant initially. Neil arrives at the spot and they hug (I couldn't hear the dialogues as the audio of this section had been muted).
Nivedita's grandmother asks her to come back to Kolkata. Pam requests her to let Nivedita stay back as she wants a chance to restore the things. Nivedita and her grandmother agree. The latter leaves. Pam calls Neil but he doesn't pick up the calls. Pam angrily utters that he can't avoid it for long and he'll have to face her and answer. Neil drops Ragini at her locality and she avoids him from accompanying her further, saying that people will doubt them. Neil leaves. The women ask Ragini if her boss dropped her, the latter replies 'ex-husband' and leaves.
RK, Karan and Dimpy discuss Pam's interference in Neil's life. Pam listens it all and tells them that they should have done this bitching in her absence.
Neil arrives. On being questioned by Pam, he explains that Nivedita would have felt lifelong pain after being married to him as he doesn't love her. Pam angrily asks him that why he proceeded till the engagement if he didn't love her. Neil smiles and utters that good things happened and he's very happy today. Nachiket Khanna is alive again. The latter orders Paneer Tikka for her and says that she doesn't even remember their last dinner together. Then she comes to her main purpose and after talking a bit about the change in Neil, she asks Ragini if Neil broke his engagement due to her.
