Chapter 87
JB, Ajabde and Sagar were halfway through when another contraction hit Ajabde really hard making her fall on her knees. The pain was unbearable and she was exhausted
Ajabde: I can't Maa it hurts too much
JB: You can Ajabde. You are my strong daughter and you have to do it for your baby
Ajabde nodded her head but she still clutched her abdomen trying to calm her baby- pleading with the baby: Please baby just a little while longer I promise we will be alright
Suddenly they heard noises surrounding them and as they looked up they found familiar eyes of SS and JM
JM: I told you to stay still but you never listen do you
SS and JM help them stand up and escort them outside where the ambulances and other security officers were taking their positions. Ajabde was rushed to the hospital with JB escorting. Before they departed JB asked for Sagar who was missing from their side. SS promised her to make sure that Sagar reached her safe and sound. Both JM and SS rushed back again to look for Sagar and hoped that they could get the truth out of US as well
Pratap punched US hard making him fall on RG who kicked him towards Akbar who back-handed him so hard that he fell directly onto Hakim who twisted his arm painfully hard making him scream in agony.
Hakim: Scream louder Uday Singh after all you love to hear screams don't you
Akbar: let's see how much you enjoy being the one screaming in pain
Chakri: Guys do give me a chance as well and as US came to him he kicked him hard making him fall in front of Pratap's feet
US looked up only to see the intense gaze of his son who was looking at him with rage- US trembled as he recognised his own shadow crippled and scared in Pratap's eyes after all it was payback time.
Bade Daata was rushed into emergency surgery as the bullet had lodged itself in his chest breaking two upper ribs and was pretty close to his lungs and had caused internal haemorrhage. Doctors knew that the patient's age would play a vital role in recovery and also that they needed to be extra careful as one mistake could cause the patient to lose his life
Ajabde was in a private room where she was being monitored by Sajja Bai. JB was worried about everyone but she needed to focus on her daughter-in-law as SB told her about the complications
SB: Jaiwanta Jija I'm giving her the medicine that will delay the contraction but she needs to relax otherwise the baby will go into further distress and I will have no other option but to have the delivery now
JB: Will it be safe?
SB: Ajabde is in the last week of her 8 month so the baby will be a bit premature but we will monitor him closely and I'm sure the baby will be fine
JB: alright and how is Subhagyawati and her baby?
SB: She was brought in early so I administered the medicine before the baby could go into distress. She's resting right now
Ajabde groans in pain and calls out for her husband
JB goes to her and runs her hand on her head and whispers soothing words while tears make their way out of the corner of her eyes
Chapter 88
All the boys took one of the torture tools of US and made sure to give him a full view of it- from the belt to the whip and the punching band everything was chosen by the boys except Pratap and RG who refused to touch them as they wanted him to feel their rage by their hands. First Akbar began with the belt one strong hit on the back sent US flying to Chakri who used the punching band with pointed end and punched him hard on the shoulder dislocating it and sent US to Hakim who used the whip to capture the dislocated shoulder and stretched it further
HK: This hand was raised on our Maa and today this hand will pay for its crime
Akbar: Not only Maa but you raised this on our brother as well and the only punishment for that crime is...
Hakim twisted the shoulder hard completely detaching the shoulder from the arm and in one hard pull the hand lay limp and the shirt was stained from the blood. All the while US screamed in agony.
Pratap froze seeing the man who hurt him and his mother for so long lying all bloodied in front of him screaming- his screams transported him back to the time when he was a kid begging for mercy-trying to stop him from hurting Maa but had failed. A voice called him out
Pratap...where are you baba? We have to go shopping... Pratap I'm waiting
It was Ajabde somehow she had managed to bring him back to the reality and Pratap knew that for a safe future US had to die
Sagar walked back towards the room where his Dada Bhai was fighting the bad man. His Bade Daata had taught him to never let go off his Dada Bhai's hand so he was going back and then they would together go to Mumma and his pretty(he called Ajabde Pretty)
US grabbed Pratap's leg with his other hand only to be kicked back on the ground
Pratap: How does it feel to be on the receiving end?
US: You are enjoying this aren't you...You are like me and one day you will do the same to your family
Pratap: I would never hurt my family like you did
US: You have my blood running in your veins and blood is thicker than water
Pratap had enough so he rained down more punched on him making him fall unconscious to the ground. As he lay there unconscious Pratap took a decision and called for his friends to leave shocking them all
RG: Do you think that is the right decision?
Pratap: No but I refuse to taint my hands with his blood. Rawatji can arrest him and there should be a fair trial so that all the people who he has hurt till now get the justice they deserve
HK: I don't think that is a good decision but I trust you Pratap
Akbar: So do I but can I get in a few more punches...please
Chakri: me too and I'm sure the others want it as well
RG: How about we shift him to the prison cell and there you all can take turns
They all smile and turn around to leave when the sound of a gun being locked is heard
US: Your biggest mistake was leaving me alive Pratap
The gunshot ran out the sound echoing in the room...
