Vaithi goes to see Anbarasu and wife and talks about having arubatham kalyanam as part of Thulasi's wish. Anbarasu follows Vettaiyan's plan and refuses at first. Vaithi's gets mad and says do it for Thulasi's sake - since she is pregnant. Anbarasu says ok.

Meenakshi comes to Vettaiyan's room and sees how messy it is, and cleans it up. She goes out and Vettaiyan and Douglas come in surprised to see the room so clean. Meenakshi comes back in and scares Douglas. 😆 She says vanakkam to Douglas. Douglas stunned by her. She asks Douglas why his name is so funny. Douglas agrees. She turns to Vettaiyan and asks what is his mother's name. Vettaiyan says Sudha. Meenakshi says she wants to see Sudha athai. Vettaiyan says he has no photo but will bring one. Meenakshi says she wants to see Sudha in person. 😃 Douglas laughs. Vettaiyan muzhichifies. Douglas starts to tell about her condition but Vettaiyan says she has headaches regularly.

Vettaiyan brings Meenakshi to the Senkottai house. Meenakshi says it is very beautiful and goes to one picture painted by Vettaiyan. She says its so nicely done. Vettaiyan smiles and tells her to look at the name of the artist. Meenakshi is shocked to see her name and smiles saying she drew well. Vettaiyan suddenly gets an idea and hides their wedding photo so Meenakshi doesn't see it. 

They start to talk and laugh. Vettaiyan pushes Meenakshi on the swing. Just then Sudha comes in with kadu kadu face and morachufies at Meenakshi. Vettaiyan introduces her to Meenakshi. Meenakshi asks how are you Athai. Sudha angrily says fine until she came. 😒 Meenakshi shocked. Sudha says she cannot tolerate Meenakshi accepting and rejecting Vettaiyan all the time and says she has fixed a good alliance for Vettaiyan. Then she asks Meenakshi to leave Vettaiyan for good. Vettaiyan tries to stop his mother but Sudha yells at him. Meenakshi looks like she wants to cry and leaves. 😭 Vettaiyan runs after her , leaving Sudha standing there ... Understand her situation - she doesn't want her son to be hurt again when she is alive .. 😭 Irundhalum it was a bit harsh ..
