Dedicated to cuteariya and Suhaana who asked me specially to write on Aarya.
Bangles for you
Yash knew that Aarti was mad about bangles.
He wanted to take Aarti out
to but bangles for her to wear for Lalit-Payal's (Aarti's sister and fiance who
is Yash's cousin)wedding.
He did'nt know how to
approach Aarti for that.But somehow he managed to go near her.
YASH:Aarti...I want to...
AARTI:You want to?
YASH:I would like to...
Aarti thought:He looks
arrogant.But actually he does'nt even have the guts to look at my eyes and talk
to me.
Then she saw Yash's brother
PRATEEK coming.
She thought:Let me make
fun of Yashji...
Aarti looked at PRATEEK:Prateek...did
you know that auntiji sent a bangles man for me?
PRATEEK:Really?
AARTI:Yes.Lots of
bangles.
Yash was surprised.
AARTI:But I am confused
which bangles to be worn for jeeji's wedding.Can you please help me to select
the best bangles?
PRATEEK:Why not Aartiji?
Yash thought:What the!PRATEEK
to select bangles for Aarti?Then it will be pathetic.Why is this Aarti seeking
his help?
Aarti sat near the bangles seller and
opened the bangle box .She took bangles looking at Yash.
AARTI:Prateeki...sit near me.
PRATEEK sat near Aarti.
Yash felt discomfort
seeing them sitting together.She took a bangle from the bangle collection:How is this bangle?
PRATEEK:Good!
She wore another
bangle:How is this bangle?Tell me no...
Yash stared at PRATEEK.Aarti
smiled seeing Yash's facial expression.
PRATEEK:This is good.
She wore a another bangle:What about this
one?
PRATEEK:Good...But...
He took another bangle.
PRATEEK:Aartiji...this will
suit you more.You will look very pretty.
AARTI:Really?I also loved
your selection Prateek...
Yash fumed with anger.
She wore the bangles he
selected and shook her hand smiling.
AARTI:Am I looking pretty?
PRATEEK:Very beautiful Aartiji...
He took another bangle.
PRATEEK:You can try this one also.
AARTI:Thanks a lot Prateek...You are so sweet.I feel nice when you give me
compliments.
PRATEEK:You are so sweet Aartiji.How can I not give you
compliments?
Aarti:If you think it suits me please make me wear it Prateek.
P:What?
Aarti winked at him.
Prateek whispered:So you want to make bhai jealous?
Aarti smiled.With a naughty smile Prateek made her wear the bangle.
Aarti imagined Yash making her wear the bangle instead of Prateek.
When she awoke from her sweet imagination she looked at Yash.
Yash controlled himself.Suppressing his temper he stared at PRATEEK.Aarti felt
like laughing seeing Yash fuming with jealousy.
Later...
PRATEEK:Aartiji,mumma told me to take you out to buy glass
bangles.So let us go.
AARTI:Sure.
Aarti went out with PRATEEK.Yash
got angry.
YASH:Why always PRATEEK
is coming between me and Aarti whenever we are alone.
He took his car out and searched for Aarti
and PRATEEK.
On the way due to traffic jam his car got jammed in
between the vehicles.That time he heard police men discussing.
"Pathetic accident.The girl died on the spot here and the
boy I taken to the hospital".
Then Yash noticed a destructive car on the road which
caused traffic block.
He got out of the car and went there.He was shocked to
see some glass bangle pieces there.He took a glass piece.
YASH: PRATEEK and Aarti took taxi and went out.This is a
taxi.Aarti must have bought glass bangles.Were they Aarti and PRATEEK?Then that
means the girl is dead.Aarti...
Yash walked around like a mad man.He was restless and was
panting very badly.Suddenly his eyes struck someone.
Yash saw Aarti standing
on the road side.He was relieved.
He ran towards her.
YASH:Aarti...
Aarti was surprised:Yashji,you...here?
Yash cupped her face in
his hands emotionally:Aarti,are you alright?I was scared..I doubted if you and PRATEEK
met with an accident.
She saw Yash sweating.
Aarti thought:Thinking that I lost my life he behaves as if he lost his
life.
They both feel their heart beating fast.
AARTI:Yashji,I am
alright.
Yash came back to senses
and realized that he was caressing Aarti's face.He moved backwards.
AARTI:Yashji...why did
you get tensed so much for me?
Yash did'nt have words.
Aarti and Yash looked at
each other silently.
Suddenly PRATEEK came:Hi
bhai...how come you are here?
YASH:What are you guys
doing here?
PRATEEK:Bhai..we bought
bangles..but the taxi car had brake down.So I was looking for a taxi.Anyways
don't worry.We both had a lot of fun shopping.Right Aartiji?
Yash got angry.He looked
at Aarti's face.
He saw the vehcles
moving on the road.
YASH:PRATEEK,you both
come.I will take you both home.
PRATEEK:Yash..then you
both go.I will catch up my friends and come.
YASH:Ok.
PRATEEK:Bye Aartiji.
AARTI:Bye
Yash stared at Aarti.
Yash and Aarti got
inside the car.Yash looked at Aarti.
Aarti started wearing
the new glass bangles with a lot of excitement.
AARTI:Prateek's selection
is superb.Nice bangles.
Yash controlled his
anger.But while wearing the bangles her hand got wounded.
AARTI:Ah!
YASH:Aarti...
He wiped the blood on
her hand.
Then with his teeth he
plucked the glass piece which was stuck upto her bleeding skin.
Aarti looked at him
unbelievingly.Because she had never thought that Yash would even use his teeth
to protect her.
YASH:Don't buy the
bangles that stupid PRATEEK select for you.See...these are tight for you.
Aarti felt like laughing
hearing Yash involving PRATEEK into this.
Yash drove to a shop.He
left Aarti in the car and went inside the shop.Then came back.
AARTI:Where did you go Yashji?
He gave her the box:I
bought bangles for you.I hope these bangles will suit you.
Aarti could'nt believe
it.She thought:Yashji bought bangles for me?
After reaching back home Yash walked away.Aarti
wore bangles.She caressed the bangles gifted by the person she loves
silently.
Aarti went near Yash.He was
engrossed in some thoughts about Aarti.She shook his hands to make him hear the
tinkle of bangles.
He looked back sensing Aarti's presense.
His eyes fell on her hands which were adorned by bangles.
AARTI:Yashji...i wore your bangles.
Slowly she smiled.
She looked at him seriously to know his reaction.His silence made her smile
disappear.
He did'nt know how to react.Though
he was very happy to see her wear the bangles he gifted her he was not a
romantic person who was going to express it.
Aarti thought:Why can't he say something about how I look after wearing these
bangles?
YASH:Thank you Aarti for accepting my gift.
AARTI:Why are you thanking me?I have heard that you never thank anyone.
YASH:Actually i don't buy gifts for anyone.For the first time i bought
something like this.So I was tensed whether you will like it or not.
AARTI:I liked them a lot.Thanks for such lovely bangles.Without knowing my size
you selected the right bangles for me.
They both smiled.
AARTI:Why did you buy bangles for me?Usually you don't buy such things for
anyone.Right?
Yash's lips shivered.
Aarti said in her mind:Tell Yashji...open your heart and say...
He looked at her eyes deeply:I love
you Aarti.
She was surprised.
Y:I hid my love for a long time.Not
anymore.I fear that if I don't confess my love at least now I will lose you.
A:Because you fear if I accept
Prateek if you don't confess your love.Right?
He was embarrassed.
A:Never Yashji.Because I too love
you.
He was surprised.
He extended his arms.She ran into
his arms happily.
