Both the ladies were wrong...

Anandi had no right to promise Ratan without consulting Ganga-Jagya.If writers show that Anandi has no idea about Mannu not knowing his father then it will be a blunder. She saw Shiv's condition when he got to know the truth and if I am not wrong she was hiding it from him as she was not sure and also because she didn't want to hurt him.But then Shiv got the hint and she had to reveal. So same is Mannu's condition.Mannu is in an age where he is neither a baby nor an adult so its very risky yet she confidently promised and then casually said what one should do for a dying person. Is the whole thing so easy! You can do whatever u think is right but there is the risk of Mannu getting to know the truth. The dialogues were absurd and went over my head.

And then Ganga. She has turned into one complete different personality, anyways nothing new.She bashed Jagya for wanting to save Mannu from future heartbreaks.Though Ratan raped her, beat her, almost killed her and one should never forgive the rapist, murderer but before leap she already forgave him and said she will bring Mannu to meet him.But now all of a sudden she hates him!Says she will not think much about a dying person! Are u serious. She was all OK with them and now she says doesn't want to give into their behkawa!Ya,we understand people changes and turns into one different person like Sriti turned into Sargun and Sargun turned into Aasiya.

And the most awaited part of the century Anandi vs Ganga happens. Thanks cvs.

But then I am glad that the writers yet didn't choose a side. They showed both right and both wrong but the sad part is that Ganga not ready to fulfil the wish of the person who saved Mannu is not at all good. That is not what she used to be.

How come mannu did not compare his parents wedding day and his birth date and asked why he was born before their wedding?

Nobody has sympathy for him.
But this redemption part A dadisa can be accepted and a Jagya can be accpeted but why not Ratan?

People not only wanted Anandi to forgive Jagya but wanted her to take him back in her life.Jagya may not have forced himself on her but what about the humiliation ultimate betrayal by taking another woman in his life while he still has a wife what about the way he treated her? He treated like she is a piece of garbage which he couldn't wait to get rid of.Are all these any less?

Here Ratan only wants to meet his son once before he dies so why was it not acceptable?

Ratan's crime was equivalent to Basant's.

He is not a bad person now. Even if he was its not wrong if he wants to meet his son. Ganga was OK with that earlier. So why shouldn't he meet? Anyway truth can come out even later too. Why not now?

I suddenly remember Satyakam movie. Heroine gets raped by a bad guy. She escapes from there and marries Dharmendra's character. She has a kid as the result of that rape. Dharmendra and the bad guy both get admitted in the same hospital and both in death bed. The bad guy wants to meet his son as last wish. Heroine refuses. But there the boy is already informed that Dharmendra is not the real father.

Here the question is not Ratan but how people are regarding Ratan.
If a Basant can be accpeted with a large heart a Jagya can expect to be taken back by his child bride then why does it become so wrong if Ratan wants to see his son?

After all did he not redeem himself by giving up his claim on his son -

Strictly speaking for a man from his background where siring a male child and father of son is so important he gave up his claim on his son so willingly purely keeping his son's well being and his future in mind - it is a sacrifice from a father so why does Ganga find the thought of Ratan meeting her son unberable???

@bold but here Mannu has no such person to tell him about his parentage.
If suddenly someone from the villagers taunts him about not being BH's heir or Not being Jagya's Bio Son then it will be wierd as nobody complains till all these 11 years.

The only two scenarios to let Mannu know about his real father are ...Singhs still have the custody papers with them & Mannu discovers it. <<well he can also finds out divorce papers as well & connect the dots>>
OR
He will overhear some convo between BH's members.

In any case...His mother has less chances to hide the truth from him for a long time. It will be better if she agrees to the last-meeting while putting a condition of Non-revelation of RS's identity to Mannu as he is dying anyways<<assuming that RS's last wish is only to meet Mannu in-person & not to hear "bapusa" for him from his side>>. This way She will have better chances to save the situation for herself & Mannu than refusing for meeting right away.(IMO)

Why hide his identity? Then no purpose for this track na. If truth is not revealed now then again bomb will be waiting to be blown again. But sometimes I think its possible that they hide it even now. Maybe future drama ke liye drag karden CVs!

and whatever ratan do past bad deed for that he get double punishment by god as well as from court .

Even if the identity will be hidden...this track has fulfilled the purpose of  showing a direct Anandi Vs Ganga with Anandi maintaining that even though she should have consulted JaGan before making any promise, She hadnt done anything wrong given her situation & Ganga questioning Anandi about her rights in this matter along with her refusal to go ahead with the meeting.  ...Till now whatever happened between them was indirect.

Also here Jagya is the key player...because He hadnt said anything yet...whether he is against the idea or in favor of it like he was earlier . And if CVs want to go further , then they can even show Jagya arranging for Mannu-RS meeting while keeping it a secret from Ganga, after he had failed to convince her on this matter.

Many possibities...but If they reveal it now then its of no use...infact no drama.
Just for the drama quotient ...this truth has to come out of nowhere...when no-one would have been expecting it to come out.
Today its just a one more A Vs G to me with J-DS left out to chose their sides, they stand their chance to hide the truth with few measures, and are well awared-prepared for the consequences.
