Let us say Anandi was wrong in promising a dying man that she would arrange a meeting with his son. So Anandi will not be able to fulfil her promise. And this will be one more in a long list of wrongs that se would have done to people. And she will suffer a little more than what she is already doing.

But there was another promise made to Ratan wherein Anandi had no role to play.

This was a promise that Ganga made to Ratan in front of Jagya and Ratan's parents that he could meet Mannu whenever he wanted to.

Ratan chose not to exercise that right all these years.

Now Ratan has expressed a desire to meet his son. Medium was Anandi, but could have been Bimla.

And Ganga is refusing to entertain this desire of a father (howsoever bad he had been, and he was bad, undoubtedly) to whom she had promised visiting rights knowing his background.

Are we to presume that Ganga did not mean what she had said that time. Was that a hollow promise, a spur of the moment thing? Just because she was so overwhelmed that he gave up Mannu, she was ready to promise anything without realising the future consequences of her words.

This is what Jagya told her too. She speaks without thinking about the long-term ramifications.

Acc to the track with Ratan and his parents earlier shown, Ganga should have no problem agreeing to Ratan - Mannu meeting. But CVs post leap have changed so much in Ganga, its quite obvious for drama sake they are doing this. Ganga is wrong right now acc to me not agreeing to this. But anandi is also wrong in taking decision on completely unrelated matter.

Yes Anandi is wrong ... How can she expect others should be behave just like her

While Anandi's wishes to fulfil a dying man's wish was not wrong in principle nobody is saying that she is right in making that promise without consulting the concerned people. Edited by aparnauma - 8 years ago

Here anandi's right or her vachan has no importance. The actual matter is meeting of mannu with ratan which ganga does not want.

As usual, the actual matter is sidestepped and blaming anandi starts.

She could have just promised him to do her best and left it at that instead of promising that she would make the meet happen.

While making this promise she only brought trouble on herself and will have to bear all kinds of insults and humiliations

Ratan who is dying why did he wait for so long. And only wants to meet mannu when he sees anandi
