Part 35:
Nandini was at hospital for one month and Manik didn't move from her side. He talked to her and read her favourite story to her at night. He showered all his love on her. But he himself was drowning in guilt for being the reason for her condition. Cabir tried to talk to him about it but Manik stopped him and asked them not to talk about it to him. They knew the only person who could drag him out of his guilt and that is nandini. Fab 5 were never to spiritual and didn't believe in all those stuffs much but for their angel they prayed.
Manik was not the same Manik anymore. He didn't smile, he didn't talk to anyone other than Nandini. He pulled himself into a shell and it was more than mukthi cabir and dhruv to handle. On one side their angel was refusing to open her eyes and on the other side their support system was growing week.
Nandini was moved to their home. First doctor was not ready for it as she was in need of immense care. But on the constant request and assurance from Manik doctor agreed. She was moved into their room with all the necessities needed for her. Everyone was glad that Manik and Nandini was back in their home for that depressing environment of the hospital. But they couldn't bring out the old Manik.
Their house was silent, which was filled with laughter, happiness, teasing and silly fights till a couple of months back. Manik made sure she was taken very good care of whereas mukthi cabir and dhruv took care of Manik, making him have his food or to take rest. And as usual Manik used to shout at them to leave him alone with her. But for their friend they ignored all his anger and blackmailed him saying what will Nandini say when she will see u like this once she wakes up. And that was all it takes to make Manik agree to whatever the trio said.

"Yaar Manik ko kab take hum ese dekhenge?" Said a worried cabir.
"I know, but the only way we could get back our Manik is to wait till chotu wake up." Mukthi said tears forming in her eyes.
"Guys dnt worry, we will get back our buddy and nandu. Nandini will wake up, she will for her Manik. She has seen him and knows him more than any of us, she won't allow Manik to be like this" dhruv said assuring others trying to hold back the tears threatening to fall. Everyone fell silent and in a few minutes they heard someone shouting manik's name. Everyone got worried and they expected the worst and ran to their room.

Manik was lying beside Nandini on the bed closing his eyes. He was slowly drifting into sleep when he sensed something touching his fingers. First he ignored thinking it would b the blanket but the touch was too familiar and warm to not recognise. Of course Manik knew the touch. His eyes opened and looked her to see her trying to hold his hand. Her eyes was still closed and her pupils was moving from side to side in the closed eyelid. His breathing stopped for a moment.
Suddenly she grabbed his hand tightly as if wanting to crush his bones and sat up shouting "MANIK". She was sweating and her eyes were still closed tightly as if she opened her eyes her Manik will disappear. " Nandini" a soft yet happy voice called her. She slowly opened her eyes only to shut it again cuz of the piercing light. She blinked tightly for a few times and looked at her side to see a pair of golden yellow eyes looking at her with all the love he hold. He hugged her instantly, she hugged him back lightly. She was still weak. "Manik are you ok? Wo harshad..wo..tumhe.." She sobbed hard. Manik gently patted her back calming her down. They broke the hug and main was looking at her like she will disappear if he blik his eyes.
"Laddoo" cabir called her in a whisper. She turned to see mukthi dhruv and cabir standing there with gear filled eyes. "Bhai" she called him. They ran to her and hugged her together. They got their angel back. Everyone cried. But Nandini was confused y everyone was acting so strangely. She broke the hug and and asked them confusedly "guys y r u all crying. ? Esa kyua that? Aur harshad kaha hein? And Aliya?" She asked all in one go. First everyone was confused about her enquiry but understood cuz of that days shock she might have forgot. "Sab batha thi hoon, first u sit properly" mukthi said making her sit properly but was stopped by Manik "let me do it" mukthi just nodded.
Manik sat on the bed resting his back on the wall and made Nandini rest on his chest. She comfortably snuggled more into his chest. His heart was again filled with her warmth and love. He gently hugged her securing her from all bad. Everyone was happy that they got their angel back, also with the hope of getting their old Manik back.
Dhruv camly told her what had happened making sure she won't get stressed. Tears where flowing from her eyes and she hugged Manik tightly. She didn't care she was in coma for 2 months all she could think k was 'what would have happened to Manik if she failed to come in between them'. She sobbed hard and Manik tried calming her. He with his eyes asked cabir to leave the alone for some time which he obliged happily. He took mukthi and dhruv with him. As soon as the door closed Manik pulled Nandini into a soft, love filled kiss. She stopped crying and kissed him back with equal passion. She could feel the pain and hurt Manik was hiding. She gently pulled away from the kiss and kissed his forehead and then his eyes and then cheeks. Manik just took her in a hug and let his tears flow.
She didn't stop him as she knew this was much needed for him. He have to let out all the emotions she bottled up in his heart for these two years. She hugged him back tighter. Manik soon fell into a peaceful sleep. Nandini just kept looking at his face. His face was not the same. He was punishing himself for whatever happened. She caressed his cheeks and planted a kiss there when one lone tear escaped her eyes. She saw his lips stretching into a smile when she kissed. She also simple at this and kept her head on his heart and slipped into sleep. Both having a peaceful sleep after a very long time.
After sometimes mukthi came to room to ask if they needed anything but as soon as she saw them sleeping peacefully with a small smile on their lips she went out wiping the tears that had made their way down her cheeks. "Thankyu for giving back our angel and her Manik" she murdered looking up and smiled and went to join cabir and dhruv who was making a mess in the kitchen to make all the fav dishes their angel likes.
Am so sorry if the update is short. But this ss will end with 3 or 4 updates. Don't throw shoes for this. Hope u guys will like the update. Do comment ur views and suggestions.
