I'm going to attempt to write a drabble... Let's see how it goes...
Abhi has just told Pragya he is not responsible for Tanu's pregnancy. They are in their room:
P: What... *wide-eyed and shocked*
A: tanu's baby... It's not mine.
P: But...
A: Trust me, Pragya. I have nothing to do with her pregnancy... I'm telling you the truth *sees that Pragya is tearing up and gets worried* Pragya! Please! If I had proof, I would show you but I don't! *Pragya is full on crying now* Pragya! Believe me- I- How can I get her pregnant if I was always busy following you around all the time?! Night and day- I had no idea why at the time, but I couldn't stay away from you for even an hour- I always had to make sure you were okay... And Tanu... I forgot about her- believe me!
Pragya runs up to him and hugs him, balling out crying, burying her face in his chest. Abhi is shocked but holds onto Pragya tightly, scared she might slip away somehow.
P: *mumbles* I believe you *sniff*
A: What? I couldn't-
P: I believe you. *looks at Abhi straight in the eye*
A: What... You mean-?... You believe me? Just like that?! *smiling, eyes tearing up in sheer happiness, hands enveloping Pragya's cheeks*
P: *sniffs loudly, wiping her nose with back of her hand* Of course I do! I'm not like someone who doesn't trust in their love and questions whatever they do! *feigning anger*
A: *slightly guilty* But I... But you're the one who didn't tell me about Tanu's pregnancy! Why didn't you tell me?! Why do you always suffer silently by yourself?! Why do you always sacrifice yourself like this?! *caressing Pragya's face*
P: Because... Because I don't want the one I love the most to get hurt... And that person's happiness is my reason to live and I'll do anything for it... even if I have to sacrifice my happiness.
A: *angry* don't you see that when you do that, you're ruining two lives! I can't... I can't see you sad, Pragya! If anything happens to you... *Pragya starts crying again* Promise me- you'll never do something like this again!
P: I... I won't...
A: I don't believe you.
P: you never believe me! You don't care for me! *starts crying again rigorously- reminds Abhi of a child*
A: Ay! Shut up, okay! I love you! I REALLY love you! *pulls her into a tight embrace* And even I don't know how much I love you but, I keep falling deeper in love with you even if I thought that was impossible!
P: you don't know how much you love me?! That means I love you more than you love me! *half laughs in pure joy, half cries jokingly*
A: Ay! I love you more-!
P: No, I do!
A: Now, listen Fuggy! Shut up before I-
P: you're threatening me! You don't love me! *pretends to be sad*
A: Ay! Wait- you haven't told me you love me!
P: But I did. *cheekily* I told you I love you more than you love me so technically, I said, "I love you".
A: Wait... *confused*... What are-? * sees Pragya is smirking* Hey! *presses her nose* there- now you can't say anything! I love you more!
P: *holds Abhi's hand and forces him to press her nose* No- I love you more!
A: *presses nose again* I love you more-est! There you go! I win!
P: *makes Abhi press her nose* That's not even a word!
A: Well there's no word to describe how much I love you!
P: Well, only God knows how much I love you!
A: Then, that means we'll have to find out how much we love each other our own way...
P: how?
A: By being together, always and forever. Promise you'll never leave me.
P: I promise.
A: *holds Pragya tightly in his arms* I love you, Pragya.
P: I love you too. *they both smile to themselves and enjoy each other's company, not wanting to let go from the embrace*
