Nominations for this year's Asian Media Awards have opened.
The awards aim to showcase the very best talent working in the media industry. Now in their third year they also look to highlight the ground breaking work of reporters, editors and producers in highlighting issues affecting race relations and human rights.
This year's event will take place on Thursday 29th October at the Hilton Manchester Deansgate. Before then a shortlist announcement will be held on Monday 28th September at the ITV Studios London.
New categories in 2015 include the Best Stage Production' award which recognises the most creative stage and theatre productions of the year. A new Regional Journalist of the Year category looks to highlight the work of an individual working in TV, radio, print and online at a regional or local level. And a TV Presenter of the Year award acknowledges someone who has helped to sustain high standards on either a digital or mainstream TV channel.

The deadline for all nominations for this year's awards is 16:00 on Friday 28th August 2015. Previous recipients of an Asian Media Award include Krishnan Guru-Murthy, Waris Hussein, Nina Wadia and Anita Anand.
The University of Salford will be premier sponsors for the 2015 ceremony and the shortlist announcement. Partners also include ITV and MediaCom. Charity partners for 2015 will be Plan UK's I am a Girl Campaign.'
Superstar Shah Rukh Khan will start shooting for director Rohit Shetty's comedy-drama Dilwale in Bulgaria.
The 49-year-old star, who was spotted in a new moustache look at the Mumbai Airport, said he waited a year for the fun to begin.
"Dilwale time...can't wait to see the smiling faces of Rohits team. Waited a year for the fun to begin all over again...Bulgaria Express," Shah Rukh tweeted.
Dilwale marks the reunion of the hit pair, Shah Rukh-Kajol, who were last seen in My Name Is Khan in 2010.
The Chennai Express star, who recently wrapped the first schedule of Raees, will be joined by the cast including Kajol, Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon.
Dilwale is scheduled to release this Christmas.

The stage of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa is all set for a glamourous and entertaining season!
Tellychakkar.com had exclusively informed viewers about Ganesh Hegde being roped in as one of the judges this year. Karan Johar was to be retained and an extensive hunt for the third judge has been going on for a long time.
Also as per reports the buzz of Shahid Kapoor replacing Madhuri Dixit was a high probability.
Today, a national daily has confirmed that Shahid indeed will be making his small screen debut with the eight season of the celeb dance reality show.
Shahid who is known for his amazing dancing abilities will definitely add a spark to the season. Interestingly this is the first time that Jhalak will have an all male judging panel.
Now as informed by us, the BBC show will go on floors from 29 June and most expectedly hit screens from 11 July.
Contestants like Parth Samthaan, Raftaar, Sanaya Irani, Vivian Dsena, Ashish Choudhry, Dipika Samson, Kavita Kaushik, Sargun Mehta, Shamita Shetty, Radhika Madan and Faisal Khan have already been confirmed.

Saurabh Tewary's latest offering, Phir Bhi Na Maane Badtameez Dil will launch on Star Plus on 29 June. The recently launched promo which heralds an enchanting love-hate relationship of the lead pair, essayed by Pearl V. Puri and Asmita Sood has already won many hearts.
Well, the already good-looking cast has now roped in talented actress Parull Chaudhry to essay an important character.
As per sources, her character will provide the much-needed oomph' factor in the office setup of the show. Her look will be similar to that of Sushmita Sen in the movie Main Hoon Na. The lady will be a very strict professional, who would be sincere to her work. Being the head of a certain department in office, she will also use her charm to get things her way.
When contacted, Parull confirmed the news stating, "Yes, I am part of the show. It is a challenging role, is what I can say at the moment."
Parull, as we have reported is also part of Zee TV's upcoming show, Ek Tha Raja Ek Thi Rani. She was last seen in the Sony PAL show, Tum Saath Ho Jab Apne.
As for Parull, the two shows will give her the scope of playing two contrastingly different characters. While Ek Tha Raja... will be a love story set in a periodic set up, Badtameez Dil will portray characters of today's time, with a very modern approach to life.
