Although, if the rumour mills are to be believed, Shahid Kapoor will be tying the knot in just a few days, it seems he may also be making his debut on the small screen soon. Buzz suggests that he could be the new judge on popular dance reality TV show, Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa'.

Kapoor, according to DNA India, is currently in talks to be a part of the show. It will also see Shilpa Shetty replace Remo D'Souza in the forthcoming season 8, who has opted out of the show in favour of another on a different channel.

Kapoor definitely is juggling a lot at the moment so whether he decides to take up the offer what would be his first TV stint remains to be seen.

Producers Gul Khan and Gorky's 4 Lions Films have finally locked the lead faces for their upcoming Star Plus show, titled Ishqbaaz, based on the unique concept of mind-body-soul. 

Well, for readers who are unaware, Tellychakkar.com has already exclusively reported about Qubool Hai fame Surbhi Chandna and Tu Mera Hero's Ruhi, Twinkle Patel being roped in as the female leads on the show. 

It's already out in the media about popular face Nakuul Mehta playing the male lead. Also, the third girl to play the female lead will be Neha Lakshmi Iyer. 

Now, we have an exclusive report about young and handsome Kartik Bishnoi being finalized to play one of the male leads on the show. 

Ishqbaaz will have three boys and three girls taking centre stage as leads.

And for the other hero's role, Leenesh Mattoo who has been in talks for a long time has been finalized. Leenesh is presently seen in Nisha aur Uske Cousins. 

Coming back to Kartik, he essayed the character of Jignesh in the popular Channel V show, Dil Dostii Dance. He has recently been seen in episodics of Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya and Code Red. 

When contacted, Kartik told us, "I have given auditions for the show. But there is nothing that has materialized out of it. I will be glad if I bag the lead role, but there is no sort of confirmation till now."

We tried buzzing Producer Gul Khan, but we received no response till the time we filed the story. 

4 Lions Films, we hear will finalize the other cast, and will go on floor with the show as early as possible. The renowned production house has their show Qubool Hai on air on Zee TV as of now.

Our sources have informed that popular and talented Bollywood faces Raghuvir Yadav and Rahul Vohra have also been signed for the venture.

Shares a source, "Raghuvir will play a close associate of Amol's character and Rahul will be seen as the staunch medical practitioner under whom Roshni (Pooja) will train."

Raghuvir has featured in films like Lagaan, Peepli Live and has played Chacha Chaudhary on TV. As for Rahul, he has won accolades for his performance in Monsoon Wedding, Swades and Bheja Fry.

We tried reaching the actors but they remained unavailable to comment.

The show has been extensively shot in London and the promos will soon hit screens.

It will launch from 13 July replacing Mahakumbh at the 8 pm slot.
