Eleven couples are dancing to the best of their ability in order to win the trophy of Nach Baliye 7, but only one will succeed. Seems Upen and Karishma have already won the hearts of many as fans voted them as the most popular couple on the show.
Nach Baliye 7 will have a new format this season. Unlike every year where audiences pick their favourite jodi by voting, this year the judges will be doing that until the semi finale and then, the baton will be passed on to the audiences to give their final verdict and pick a winner. Just before the show went on air on April 26, we conducted a poll to find out who are the audiences rooting for and somehow the final results didn't exactly surprise us. So here are the results.
Upen Patel and Karishma Tanna, who've just emerged from the Bigg Boss house as a couple seem to be loved by the audiences as they won the poll with 34 per cent votes. It was neck to neck competition between Karisma-Upen and Shakti Arora-Neha Saxena. Several times they even went above UpMa, but as we closed the poll they stood at 31 per cent.
Coming in the third position are controversial couple Rashami Desai and Nandish Sandhu with about 11 per cent votes in their favour. Himmanshoo Malhotra-Amruta Khanvilkar who got the maximum score last week on the show stands in the fourth place with popular jodi Mrunal Thakur-Sharad Tripathi with 6 per cent votes. Sana Saeed-Deepesh Patel and Payal Rohatgi-Sangram Singh got 4 percent votes, while Aishwarya Sakhuja-Rohit Nag and Jay Soni-Pooja Shah received only 2 per cent votes. Smiley Suri-Vineet Bangera came last; unfortunately we didn't know about the runaway couple Arpit Ranka and Nidhi hence they are not included in this list.
This is just a preliminary stage of voting where they were judged on their popularity. WithNach Baliye 7 now already on air we are sure popularity scales will soon tip in other directions, let's see who then gets the maximum votes.
Rajneesh Duggal
In a much publicised first project, popular TV actor Gautam Gulati, having won the most recent season of Bigg Boss', was all set for a debut with Udanchhoo'. However, having walked out of the film in favour of an Ekta Kapoor film, it seems Khatron Ke Khiladi 5 winner Rajneesh Duggal has bagged the role instead.
Talking to Mumbai Mirror, Duggal confirmed the film, "I was approached for the film four months ago but I did not have any dates available since I was busy shooting for Beimaan Love with Sunny Leone".
"Later, I heard that Gautam had signed the film. But when things didn't work out with him, I was back on track," he continued.
Newbie Saisha Sehgal and Bruna Abdullah are also a part of Udanchhoo'.

Tellychakkar.com had been actively reporting about the developments. Initially titled Yeh Ishq Nahi Aasan, the show has got its final title in Phir Bhi Na Maane...Badtameez Dil.
The series is said to be adaptation of the 1985 English classic, The Breakfast Club. It will present the tale of four friends, all with different ideologies but connected through music.
Model Asmita Sood, Pearl V Puri, Suyyash Rai, Vindhya Tewary will play the leads and actors like Nivedita Saraf, Ashlesha Sawant, Payal Nair, Indresh Malik and Roshni Sohuta hve also been roped in to play pivotal roles.
The drama will launch sometime by end of this month.
Khoobsurat was Fawad Khan's big ticket debut in Bollywood. And it actually worked the most in his favour. After making the ladies go weak in their knees for him, Fawad soon grabbed headlines for signing a YRF film opposite Kareena Kapoor. While the actor denied such reports previously, it seems his deal with the production house has finally happened.
Sources claim that the actor has already been signed on for a 3 film deal with YRF and official announcements regarding the same will be made soon. As for now, the actor is busy prepping up for his next- an adaptation of Battle of Bittora which also stars Sonam Kapoor. He is also one of the leads in Karan Johar's Kapoor & Sons starring Alia Bhatt and Sidharth Malhotra.
Along with these two films, the actor has been signed on for Sohail Khan's My Punjabi Nikaah. As for now, we hear that the film with YRF will be yet another romantic love drama and the heroine will be finalised soon. Now if this doesn't make Fawad the next big thing in Bollywood, what will?
Nandish Sandhu and Rashami Desaihave had their share of ups and downs in their personal life. But when it comes to reality shows, usually we have seen the couple sticking to each other through thick and thin. Seems that won't be the case with Nach Baliye 7.
Rashmi and Nandish who are one of the most famous and loved couples on the dance based reality show faced a lot of flak for lying to the organisers and faking an ankle injury. Sources from the sets claimed, "Rashami faked an ankle injury and took few days off from the show citing her injury as the major reason. While she was permitted by the channel, later it was found out that Rashami was in Los Angeles performing at some function."
How did the makers get to know this? Rashami posed for a selfie click with Nakul Mehta, who put the picture up on his Instagram account and the lie was soon out. Apparently we hear that the channel and the production house had an idea about all this but they kept the other contestants in the dark. When news broke out, they simply asked Rashami to accept on camera that she lied. But once she did, the other couples protested and threatened to stage a walkout.
Rashami tried clarifying that she's a thorough professional and previously too, she had continued with Jhalak Dikhlaa Ja despite suffering a miscarriage. The story of her miscarriage made Preity Zinta emotional but her co-contestants were not ready to listen to any such story. But one thing that was evident from the entire episode is that all's not well between Nandish and Rashami. Or maybe even Nandish did not support Rashami in lying and running away to the foreign country for her performance. "Nandish never came out in support of Rashami. It was Rashami who was defending herself all alone. Nandish did not stand up for his wife and rightly so," claims a source from the production.
What does this suggest? Will Rashami and Nandish leave the show? Will the channel eliminate them? Will they be disqualified? Will the contestants cool down and continue with the show? Will they accept the channel allowing Rashami to continue with Nach Baliye? All such questions need to be answered.
