In my opinion it is, but only from Daadi and Pragya. Some of the feelings they have for Abhi are very similar and this kind of hug is nothing but giving him some much needed break from reality without fear of feeling weak... I hope I explained that in an understanding way...

With AbhiGya, the hugs have always been his chest, her head.. The other way round would be a great way to show emotional intimacy, but may be too much for small screen..
