Kalyan Jewellers ad is a copy of old Vogue shoot

They could have easily sold/marketed the product without the child holding the umbrella. Aish in that dress and jewels was more than enough. It's distasteful--vogue and Kalyan one.

The ad is distasteful and equally distasteful are the reactions of Kalyan and Aishwarya...Enough said!

Im just wondering, Did no one, not a single person in their huge marketing, design and production team (Vogue and Kalyan) ever think- " This is a bad idea, it looks like a poster that screams 'Child Labor' and Racisim"

I'm just suprised that they never thought that it was a really bad idea, Im sure they all saw the picture like a 1000 times before they release it. Are they just idiots or too ignorant?

Lol of course that makes it ok. Now had it been Kareena or Sonam in that ad, then it would be distasteful, racist, and inappropriate.

Yes to her credit she responded and ad has been withdrawn. 

is it just me or is the ad in it's actual form much more effective than the re-did version? They don't have to try so hard
