ANUSHKAAA... for our shankarji's sake, get down fast. dev shouted at the top of her voice calling anu who was busy packing everything that held space in her room literally everything from the curtains to books to the wall clock to even safety pins. she just wanted to gather all sweet and sour memories of her childhood, cherish them and preserve them for a lifetime and the last thing that came in her hand was a photograph which possessed all the well defined features like hers- the sharp nose, the round black eyes, the jawline and even the joined earlobe, not hard to guess it was her mother's photograph...😃

tears rolled sown her eyes as she held it and spoke her heart out about how she was all set to leave the place where she was born and brought up, the place where she learnt to walk, the place from where she went to school, the place where she played, celebrated and even shed tears. finally it was the moment for them to leave but she promised to herself and her mother that no other destination in this world can ever take the special place which her hometown possesses in her heart!❤️

she almost slipped  down the staircase thinking that maybe the suitcase is heavier  than her own weight, seeing dev who was annoyed with her for being so late, alka who was busy packing food, peeya who was yawning and shastri who spoke- TIME TO WAVE A GOODBYE TO ALL BETA! this is not fair papa and dev started blabbering about how always shastri lets anu  go and favours her, to which shastri immediately nodded yes but then alka teased dev of how she wanted to get out of the house and see off all her crazy admirers at which dev made a face...😉

The second and the most loved daughter of the family. She was a reason for shastri to smile, a source of confidence to alka, a patient listener for devyaani and a basis of inspiration for peeya. along with alka's calmness, devyaani's free  attitude and peeya's   vivaciousness, it was anushka's maturity that made their family complete. she was the apple of shastri's eyes who labeled her to be MISS ALWAYS RIGHT as she was!!!

what will people think of what and how DEVYANI SHASTRI'S sister is??? and dev again poked anu to go and change her dress but anu was comfortable  in her simple cream salwaar kameez with a French plait and as they step out of the house, the whole neighborhood had gathered there to celebrate a farewell with them, all the grannies who had come to bless them offered prayers for the next seven generations of the shastri clan! anu beta I know u love Kanpur and I assure u my son will bring u back here once he completes his studies and gets a job, a neighbor teased. not at all interested anu said firmly! by the way dear sister u better get settled because I don't think any normal guy in delhi has the strength to handle u!!! no one in the world is fortunate enough to get ANUSHKA SHASTRI in his life, u know naa m not at all interested in getting married, she made clear...😎

A simple yet graceful a bold yet innocent girl who never possessed any pride in the way she carried herself. More than knowing and getting along with people she was always more than happy to help whosoever in need...👍🏼

as they made their way towards the railway station the only thoughts back and forth anu's mind were that how she will miss the nagging of all the gossip queens in her lane who had no other business than getting the four shastri sisters married!!! the cribbing of the paper boy who did not like to wake up early but was always on time, the cute innocent milkman with the cutest accent in the world, the owner of the sweet shop near their house who was the only person who knew how to prepare her favourite gulab jamuns, the playing and giggling with school girls in the evening, her so very well maintained garden and the story goes on...😳

blocking their way was a gang of guys who had come specially to say bye bye to dev who was overwhelmed to see all of them but least she knew that more than being sad because of her, they all were relieved that finally ANUSHKA SHASTRI was leaving them because for all of them and their cheap tips and tricks she was yet another version of mogambo, gabbar or should I say kancha china!!!😆

at the railway station she saw her father enjoying the last cup of tea in the air of Kanpur as she rested her head on his shoulder. I WILL MISS THIS PLACE PAPA... and shastri comforted her BETA ONLY THOSE THINGS ARE MISSED WHICH ARE FORGOTTEN AND I KNOW KANPUR WILL NEVER LET U FORGET IT!!! she was actually tired after the hard work of so many days of preparing to go to delhi so now she wanted the train to arrive...🥱

putting all the luggage in its place she took the window seat and as the trees flashed like that in any animated movie even she walked down the memory lane but with a smile. shastri had just begun to snore... dev was continuosly talking about how much she is excited to go to the new place, to shop the stuff there, to meet new people, to make friends and blah blah blah but anu did not fail to notice an unknown expression of sadness on alka's face which she was trying to decode🤔

DELHI- a metro city, the capital of our country and that was all she knew, and actually she was even not interested to know as Kanpur was very dear to her. she was going to a new place half heartedly thinking that her father has a job, alka has intentions to get married, dev is excited to meet people and peeya is more than happy that she will study in one of the country's best school but she again began doubting that what exactly the big, lavish city of delhi have in store for her?????🤗

so friends this was ANUSHKA SHASTRI who is a person of no complaints, no demands and the least expectations from her life. leaving everything in the hands of her shankarji she has headed towards delhi so to know what exactly has her shankarji planned for her...😳
