:She started crying profusely. She was angry at herself, the chagrin inside her flowed out in the form of tears. She dreaded what would happen if she meets pratap today.
PART 2:
Pratap on being prompted by the family members had already set out to meet Ajabde.
By the time Ajabde poured her heart out, Pratap was already there.
Pratap had been listening to this confession. He was overwhelmed & could not muster the courage to face her at that very moment. He left from there, standing by the railing of the corridor, her words of guilt and remorse still ringing in his ears. He knew that that was it. Nobody could part them now, not even the destiny itself, because HE WOULDN'T LET ANYTHING come in between him & his beloved.
He slowly walked into her room only to find her standing by the windowsill, with her back towards him.
MP: Ajabde!
Ajabde was startled but she knew their meeting was inevitable since the Almighty Himself wanted two beautiful souls to unite.
Pratap called again.
MP: Ajabde.
Hearing her name from his mouth after such a long time, just made her sentimental. Her beautiful eyes brimming with tears. She closed her eyes to relish this beautiful moment.
She took a deep breath & composed herself before turning around.
The two eyes met & the WHOLE WORLD CAME TO A STANDSTILL. The time froze, & they just kept looking into each other's eyes. Pratap slowly walked towards her while she could not control her tears from flowing which symbolized the agony she went through when they were apart.
Pratap stood close in front of her. She lowered her eyes since she didn't want him to see her tears.
Pratap broke the long silence.
MP: Kaisi hain aap?
Ajabde silently wiped her tears & faked a faint smile.
A: Hum theek hain, aap, aap kaise hain Kunwar Pratap.
She fumbled her way in speaking.
MP: Aapke bina...and he paused midway in what he really wanted to say, took a deep breath, hum theek hain parantu aapke kaaran theek hain.
Ajabde looked questioningly into his eyes.
MP: Hum jaante hain, chahe voh yudh ho, ya akbar se saamna, aapne har baar hamare liye prarthana ki. Aur hum uske karan hi shayad jeevit hain anyatha...
Ajabde stopped him before saying the thing that she could never hear, by keeping her fingers on his lips.
A: Aaj ke baad aisa kabhi mat kahiyega.
MP: Ab bhi naraaz hain humse?
Ajabde looked into his eyes, controlling herself from crying & shook her head slowly.
MP: Ho sake toh hame kshama kar dijiye, hum aapko apmaanit hone se rok bhi naa sake. Swayam pe krodh, atyadhik krodh aata hai hume. Hume kshama kar dijiye.
And he was about to fold his hands in front of her but ajabde grabbed his hands before he could do so.
A: Aapki koi galti nahi hai Kunwar Pratap.
Hum apmaanit nahi hue hain, badon ka aadesh to humein maan na hi tha.
Pratap smiled on the fact that how mature, admirable and a role model she was. What if she was to be his wife??!!
Ajabde was touched that how much Pratap cared for him. She felt fortunate to have such a person by his side. How could she hurt such a person, for this damn world??
She broke down, unable to hold back the tears anymore.
MP: Ajabde, ajabde. Agar hamari kisi baat ka aapko bura laga toh kshama kar dijiye parantu kripya royiye mat.
He didn't know how to console her. He just fumbled in what to speak to calm her down.
A: Hume kshama kar dijiye. Hume kshama kar dijiye kunwar pratap. Humne aapki bhaavnaon ko bohot aahat kiya hai. Har baar jab aap hamare saamne hote the, hum samjh hi nahi paate the ki apni bhaavnaon per kaabu kaise karein. Aap hamare itne paas hote hue bhi bohot dur the. Aur hum bas ye hi chaahte the ki aap jahan bhi ho, jiske bhi saath ho, bas prasann rahein. Jab hum jaante the ki hum or aap kabhi saath ho hi nahi sakte, toh humne aapse doori banaye rakhna hi sahi samjha. Parantu hum galat the, isliye aapse kshama maangte hain.
Pratap couldn't see her in such a state. Her pain was his pain, he was on the verge of crying too.
He slowly wiped her tears away, only to find her looking at him with all the love he could desire.
MP: Kya aap humse vivaah karengi?
Pratap just spoke his heart out. This was the dream he had been nurturing since long- to marry her, & make her an inseparable part of his life.
Ajabde stood amazed. She stared deeply into Pratap's beautiful brown eyes as if confirming what he had said was indeed true. She always wanted to be with him but didn't know if that would ever happen, keeping in mind the ups & downs they faced.
Forgetting about everything else in the entire world, what meant to her at this very moment was Pratap, only Pratap. She nodded. Yes, she wanted to marry pratap & entwine her soul with his.
Both came closer. Pratap put his hand caringly on her cheek and she couldn't help but smile. His other hand reached for her waist and she kept her head on his chest. His arms surrounded her, protecting her from everything bad that may ever come to her. They fell into a warm embrace that became the defining moment of their lives - the eternal bliss just signifying what was in store for them in the time to come. This is the love that began at a moment, grew over time and was going to last till eternity coz even a thousand hearts would be few to carry their love for each other...because for them, JUST BEING TOGETHER WAS ENOUGH.
