Aditya desperately waits for Shikha at the party. He's confident that he'll reveal Shikha's truth before the party ends. Madhurima speaks to the reporters and tells them that Samaira will be signing the contract today at the party. Samaira arrives at the party and remembers the last time she was at the Jagannath mansion (along with Inspector Naik) and how she was insulted and forced to leave the place.
Madhurima greets Samaira and introduces her to Mahanto Jagannath. He praises her singing. Samaira replies that she must thank him for that since his company has given her a chance otherwise it becomes difficult for others to get their voice across. Samaira is then introduced to Jai and Alia. Samaira praises Alia's dress and after knowing that it was designed by Alia herself, asks her to start a fashion label, similar to the music company Madhurima has started. Madhurima interrupts her and says Alia is too young and inexperienced for such ventures. Mahanto asks Samaira if she is from Delhi. Samaira replies that she was born and brought up in Switzerland and that's where her parents currently reside. She says that her dad owns a small business there and since she's got a passion for singing, it brought her all the way to India. Meanwhile, Aditya is seen talking to a blonde- haired, Caucasian woman and sends her over to Samaira. The woman introduces herself as Clara, and says she's from Switzerland as well. Aditya asks them to speak in German. Samaira grows anxious and smiles nervously! She tells Clara that there's no use of speaking in German language since no one would understand them. Clara replies at least the two of them would understand. Mahanto encourages Samaira to speak the language. Clara starts interacting with her in German but Samaira looks on apprehensively. Aditya smirks and asks her if she really knows the language since it's the official language of Switzerland. Samaira replies to Clara in German and tells her that there are 4 additional languages spoken in Switzerland- French, Dutch, Italian and Romanian. Aditya is left stunned. Samaira tells the same in Hindi to Aditya.
Aditya looks visibly upset and Madhurima takes him away to the bedroom to speak to him. She reprimands him for being too stubborn regarding Samaira's identity. Aditya asks her to stop over reacting and that he was just checking. He says that he's lived with Shikha for 2 years and therefore, recognizes her very well. Madhurima says that Shikha was a simple 'behenji' type girl while Samaira is classy and modern and they are poles apart from each other. Madhurima pleads to Aditya (with folded hands) to not create a scene in front of the guests and media-persons present at the party.
At the party, Samaira hears a kid crying and starts following his voice concernedly thinking it's her 'Maanav'. It's in fact an infant (with her nanny) crying (not Maanav- this kid is simply too young). Aditya walks over and enquires what's worrying her. Samaira replies that a guest is not being looked after at this party. Aditya apologizes and offers her a drink and tells her that she's looking very beautiful like a "princess" in her dress. Samaira pauses and recalls how Sameer used to address Shikha as his "princess". Aditya asks Samaira if this particular complement has been used by someone else. Samaira laughs and tells him that it's very "filmy" to call someone a 'princess'. Who does that really? Aditya shrugs and says that he's learnt everything from films since he's not a poet (he's taunting her poetry). He asks her if she writes poetry and Samaira replies that she does write but in German which he won't understand. Mahanto walks over and asks if she'll fulfil Sunaina's wish to hear Samaira sing at the party. Sunaina asks Aditya to play the mandolin (to provide music for the song). Aditya agrees and Samaira flirtingly says, "Lets see, what our jugalbandi (fusion) can create!" Madhurima looks at them worriedly.
Samaira sings "Tinka Tinka" while Aditya plays the mandolin. She finishes her singing and Aditya breaks a couple of strings on his mandolin. Samaira comments that she's seen people break a chord before but not two at the same time. Aditya recalls how Shikha had once broken a string of his guitar. Samaira says that it looks like its been a while since he's played the mandolin but admits that he plays it quite well. Madhurima enquires if she's ready to sign the contract. Samaira agrees and accompanies Madhurima. Aditya, on the other hand, goes to bring Maanav from the bedroom. Madhurima announces to the media and the gathered guests that she's officially declaring Samaira as the brand ambassador of the Jagannath Group. Just when Samaira is about to sign, she hears Maanav say, "Mumma". She stops to look at Maanav and drops her pen. Neeraj (in glasses and completely disguised) hands her the pen. Samaira looks at him and is surprised to find him there.
