There seems to be a Modi wave sweeping through Bollywood right now. While some like Hansal Mehta have been vehemently opposing Modi, there are others who have been openly supporting Modi's Prime Ministerial aspirations. One of the first actors to endorse Modi happened to be Salman Khan. And now following his footsteps is none other than his bte noir Vivek Oberoi.

At an event yesterday, Vivek said that only Narendra Modi can deliver us out of the political chaos that the country finds itself in.

Supporting Modi, Vivek said, "Modi is a good and honest politician. I am fully supporting him because I want him to win."

While Modi's litmus test lies in his ability to prove that he is truly a secular leader, Vivek has no doubts about Modi being secular. The actor, who has been actively campaigning for the BJP emphasised that this time around Modi has amalgamated both secularism and development in his agenda.

"Modi is secular. In fact, for the first time ever the plank of our election is development. I really like a statement that Modi made which is 'Hum ek haath main Quran aur doosre main modernisation dekhna chahte hain (We want to see Quran in one hand and modernisation on other."
