Also, we may debate on Modi, but have to credit him for being so prepared and forthcoming. Never seen an Indian politician prep so well and execute even better before elections. Single-handed winning it for BJP.Rahul remains in the sidelines, there is no light in his tunnel. If Cong wants to survive the tide , they need to ditch the Gandhi family and let the other new young guns take control. what a contrived and yawn-inducing interview .& for all the Hitler comparisons - you just don't know Indian politics.

But with his excellent marketing skills he has manged to remain the conversation topic in almost every household. Whether one agrees with him or not , he has managed to make this election a personality based, and where he is trumping everyone.
UP for the past 10-12 years have seen a dwindling BJP but this time around it is emerging out to be a much stronger party. I think Modi is being smart with UP, he is targeting those pockets which would buy his anti-corruption, development slogan especially close on the heels of SP govt's failures . The minority belt was never his but I have a feeling he is cutting out votes for both SP and Cong, considering the recent riots and idiotic SP statements. A decent 30 seats in UP would be great for him.The thing is even the rural base doesn't seem to have any option, Cong is just not able to sell Brand Rahul to them.

No wonder , its Modi wave everywhere. These guys are super pros, if they can sell Iraq War for Tony , they can do anything. They really no politics well, considering most of the clients are governments. Good hire, Mr. Modi. But then you need someone like Modi to build the campaign around, else there will be RaGa.
