Chapter 9
Aisha's morning started with a strange and scared feeling.Masa was unusually silent. She didnt give any more lessons,lectures,neither showed her wishes about the future heirs nor did she once speak about the discussion and outburst last night.Aisha tried to speak to her but she avoided,keeping herself busy with the usual chores.
Aisha tried to speak to her again but she was scared to face her after sameer's outburst the earlier night.She helped her with the breakfast and other chores silently,keeping a close watch on her mood.Sameer came inside the kitchen dressed in his office clothes and asked Ayesha to arrange the breakfast,giving her a meaningful gaze.She nodded and left the kitchen to both of them.
Sameer went close to masa and turned her to face him.She looked at him with a blank face.
'masa kal mujhe apse waise baat nehi karna chahiye tha,per apko pata haina mujhe ye sab pasand nehi,'
He waited for her to reply but she kept silent,so he continued,
'masa hume waqt chahiye,aap jaisa soch rahi hai,waisa nehi hota hai.Meine apki baat maan ke shadi to karli,per meine apse pehele bhi kaha tha,shadi bohot bari responsibility hai aur mein ise abhi nehi utha sakta.Per ap nehi mane.thik hai,uspar bhi mujhe koi complain nehi,per abhi bhi ap samaj na nehi chahti.Ap ne bhaisa ke sath bhi yahi kiya na,kya wo khush hai?'
'kiya hum ap dono ko zabardasti iss rishte mein bandh rahi hu sameer?'she finally asked him,
'nehi per do anjann log achanak ek sathe rehene lage to thori to problem hoti haina,specially jab dono majboori mein shadi ki ho.'
'ap khush nehi ho aisha ke sath?'
'baat meri nehi hai masa,humari hai,hum sab ki hai,aur insab mein aisha bhi..'
'hum samaj rahe hai,shayad tum sahi kehe rahe ho..meine hi tum logo per thora zyada bhoj daal diya.'
'nehi masa wo..'
'sameer tum log jo chahe karo,per ek baat yaad rakhna,kabhi kabhi khusi aur pyar samajme nehi ata,jab tak ap usse kho na do,bas kabhi khushi ya pyar kuch bhi khone maat dena,'
Sameer kept looking at her trying to understand her words.But masa patted his arm lightly and took him out.
'ab chalo,office mein late ho jaoge,aur haan hum sham tak chale jayege aj,fir to koi nehi rahega lecture dene wala.'she said with a smile.
Sameer held her by her shoulder and both walked out of the kitchen.Aisha was serving food to babasa who was engrossed in the newspaper.She was continuously looking back towards the kitchen trying analysing the situation inside.But the situation confused her.She didnt hear a single loud word. Then masa came out with sameer outside smiling,which was even more strange for her.She looked on while Sameer came and sat down.Masa instructed aisha to serve the food.
She put the food on his plate and looked at him trying to understand what had brought the sudden change in masa.The assured smile from sameer gave out the answer. Sameer finished his breafast and went quickly,after speaking to his father about their departure time.He even asked aisha to remind him once so that he doesnt forget during the case.
Aisha nodded and sat down for her breakfast along with her in-laws.

Chotu's informers had brought some good news.Kunal and Nisha had been found.They had been hiding in a friend's abondoned room all these days,waiting for the case to dissolve.Chotu's informer had found Kunal in a grocery shop,buying some usual home items.He informed chotu early morning and chotu instantly went there accompanied by Arjun.
Both brought Kunal and Nisha along with them to the ETF headquarters and now they were sitting in the interogation room. Rathod and Arjun went inside and sat on the respective chairs facing the culprits.Kunal was looking disturbed and sweating but Nisha was still quite bold and posed ignorant about the whole matter.
Before Rathod could start,Nisha started shouting,
'mujhe yaha kiyu leke ayeho?meine kya kiya hai?'
'wo to ap hume batayengi mohtarma?kya kiya hai apne?'Rathod exclaimed calmly,
'kiya matlab,mein apne papa se baat karna chahti hu,ap mujhe aise yaha nehi rak sakte,'
'hum kiya kar sakte hai,ye apko bohot jald pata chal jayega,itni jaldi bhi kiya hai papa se baat karne ki?pehele ye batao avinash ko kiyu mara?'Arjun replied,
'Avinash?wo mar gaya?'she asked shocked,
'tumhe nehi pata?'rathore asked,
'nehi mujhe kaise pata hoga?'
'arre apne boyfriend ke maut ke bare mein nehi pata?jhoot bolna hain to thik se bolo,'
'wo mera boyfriend tha per kuch din pehele humara breakup ho gaya,uske baad se mujhe uske bare mein kuch nehi pata hota hai..'
'kiyu hua breakup?'
'Mein usse pyar kabhi nehi karti thi,uske pas paise the aur mujhe drugs ki addiction thi.avinash mujhe hamesha drugs lake deta tha.Mujhe jab jo chahiye wo lake deta tha.Mein uski madaat se college mein drugs supply karti thi.Mere father mujhe paise dena band kar diye the iss nashe ki adaat ke liye..avinash mujhe help karta tha.Per mein kunal se hi pyar karti hu.Maine breakup bhi kar li.Per wo maan hi nehi raha tha.Kehe raha tha, mujhse shadi karega,wo apna kam bhi chor dega,lekin mein usse shadi kaise kar sakti hu?mein to..'
'pregnant thi,aur bacha kunal ka hi hai,haina?'riya came in with some reports,
Everyone looked back at riya,who gave the reports to sameer and arjun.She had found them in the house they had taken shelter.She had later checked with the hospital and came to know that the father of the child was kunal.
Sameer now smirked at Nisha,who had an ashamed face.She lowered her eyes and looked around but not at them.
'Avinash ko pata tha is bare mein?'Arjun took over from there,
Nisha nodded.
'firbhi wo tumse shadi karna chahta tha?'
'nehi wo chahta tha mein abortion karwa loon,pagal ho gaya tha wo per meine mana kar diya.Usne kuch nehi kaha aur chala gaya.Mujhe ajeeb laga.Fir kuch din wo nehi mila.Fir usne mujhe phone karke bulaya.Fir..'she stopped and looked at kunal,who too looked at her.
Everyone looked at kunal now.He blinked his eyes several times and sipped in a few drops of water.Then he started,
'fir usne mujhe phone kiya aur room mein bulaya.Mujhe nehi pata tha ki usne nisha ko bhi bulaya hai.Mein jab room mein pohuncha to Nisha aur avinash jhagda kar rahe the.Avinash ne nisha ko pakar rakha tha,aur wo uspe chilla rahi thi.
Wo log bache ke bare mein baat kar rahe the.Avinash kehe raha tha ki agar nisha abortion karwa le to wo log shadi kar lenge.Aur agar nehi karwaya to wo usse aur kabhi drugs lake nehi dega.Nisha ko drugs ki lat lag gayi thi.Wo drugs ke bina nehi rehe sakti aur avinash ke bina usse aur koi lake bhi ne sakta.'kunal stopped and gestured nisha to continue,
'haan mein addict ho gayi thi aur avinash mujhe blackmail karne laga.Jab mein uske baad bhi abortion ke liye razi nehi hui,to usne mujhe chor diya.Usne mujhe ek drug ka packet diya aur wo bhi mere pass bait gaya.Usne injection banaya aur mujhe diya.Khud bhi liya.Fir hum baithe the ki achanak mujhe ajeeb si feeling hone lagi.Vomiting feeling,sar dard aur breathing problem bhi suru ho gayi thi.Meine use asthama pump dene ko kaha to wo uthke leke aya.Per mujhe nehi diya aur hasne lag gaya.Usne kaha ki ab mera bacha aur nehi bachega.mein usse pump lene ki koshish kar rahi thi.
Tabhi kunal waha aya aur mujhe pakar liya.Un dono mein jhagda hua aur pata nehi avinash ne kaha se ek pistol nikal liya aur kunal pe point karke khara ho gaya.Meine usse rokne ke liye uska hath pakar liya.Avinash ne mujhe dhakka diya aur mein gir gayi,aur sath mein uske pistol bhi gir gaya..Kunal aur avinash ke beech mar pit suru ho gayi.avinash kunal ko pitne laga.meine pistol uthayi aur usse mar diya.'she completed sweating and breating heavily.
Arjun signalled riya to bring an asthama pump.Riya immediately got one and gave it to her.She breathed in and calmed down.Sameer forwarded the glass of water and she sipped in.
'fir hum waha se bhag gaye,girne ki wajah se aur drugs ki overdose se nisha ka bacha..hum mere friend ke ghar chup gaye.Mera friend,college principal ka beta hai,Shakti,isi liya jab pata chala ap log waha investigation ke liye gaye the to humne yaha se bhag jane ka faisla kiya.Hum aj hi sheher chor ke chale jate per,apke officer ne pakar liya.Hum avinash ko marna nehi chahte the officer,wo ek accident tha,hum ek dusre se pyar karte the,humare pass aur koi chara nehi tha.'kunal added,
'tum isse pyar kehete ho?disgusting,'Arjun walked out without another word,
'chotu le jao inhe,'sameer ordered and walked out of the room.
The case had left an impact on him.He had never fell in love in life,but he had come across a number of love stories.Latest addition being the affair between arjun and riya where he had played an important part.But todays case gave a completely different insight to him.
Nisha was confused about whom she loved.She might have never loved any of them.But then why didnt she wanna abort the child?Did she really fell for kunal?
Avinash was possesive about nisha,but could it be called love?He could have spared her to spent her life with kunal but he had tried to kill his own love.
Kunal,he couldnt accept his love even after knowing that avinsah loved his love..He couldnt even keep the friendship with avinash and betrayed him,could that be called love?
Sameer was confused and thoughtful.What surprised him more was, he had never thought about love though such cases had come and gone,he never gave it a thought back.But today stangely he is still thinking about it.
'sab masa ke baton ka asar hai,'he thought and hit his head.
He got back to his work,after ordereing others.It was evening and aisha called to inform about his parents departure.He spoke to arjun and handed him the authority for the day and went back home.

Aisha had recieved the details for her next mission in the morning.But the whole day she couldnt get time to check the mail.She wasnt too much busy but she was suddenly scared of her mother-in-law's silence.
She helped her with packing,getting the things needed,arranging them,cooking and serving food,making her rest for the day.Babasa had went out to meet a friend of his,also his business client and asked her to confirm the flight details.She turned on the internet to check and thats when she knew that the mail for the details to the next mission has arrived.She tried looking into it but then something came up and she got busy with it.
Finally everything in the house done and all work sorted she called up sameer and reminded him of the work he still had in hand.He always made it an effort to recieve or atleast drop his parents back at the airport everytime they had came to visit him.
She finished all her work and sat down on the bed with her laptop,waiting for the mail page to load.But before she could enter the required details Masa came in knocking on the door and she sat up,lowering the screen.
'kuch kam kar rahi ho?'masa asked from the door,
'nehi nehi,ayiye na..'aisha called her in standing up,
'tum baitho,kuch baat karna hai tumse,'masa said gesturing her to sit and sat beside her,
'jee kahiye,'
'itne dino mein maine tumhe jo bhi kaha,shayad tumhe bohot buri lagi ho..uske liye,'
'please masa,aisi baat nehi hai,ap please usdin sameer ki baton ka bura maat maniye,wo aisehi..'
'mein apne bete ko jaan chuki hu aisha,wo bilkul apne baba jaisa hai.Aur shayad isi liye mujhe samaj aa raha hai ki tumhe kaisa lag raha hai.Usdin sameer ne jo bhi kaha wo sach hai.Meine uski shadi uski marzi se nehi ki aur iski wajah se tumhe bhi takleef ho rahi hai.Per aisha ab jab shadi ho gayi hai,kiyu tumlog ekbar koshish nehi kar sakte?Jab meri shadi hui thi,hum bhi kuch aise hi soche the,per sath rehete rehete,dekho aj hum itne saal ek sath hai.
Aur haan mein tumpe koi zabardasti nehi kar rahi hu,bas tumhare babasa ne tumhe jo kaha hai,wahi kehe rahi ho.Ek bar is rishte ko mouka do aisha,tum log jis khusi aur pyar ki talash kar rahe ho,shayad wo mil jaye.
per haan ye maat samjhna ki mein tumhe lecture dena chor dungi.Is zindagi mein ye kabhi nehi hoga,per sameer hamesha tumhara sath dega,itna mein yakeen se kehe sakti hu.Agar saboot chahiye to apne babasa ko dekh lo.Akele ghar bhi wapas nehi jate,'she said with a smile,blushing slightly.
Aisha smiled too.She wasnt scare anymore.They talked some more,some more lectures,some more smiles and some more blushes.Finally babasa broke their conversation informing sameer's arrival and also the time for their departure.
Aisha along with Sameer went to drop them at the airport.While returning back,sameer looked at aisha.He was surprised to find a virtual smile on her face.She wasnt smiling but her face was glowing and happiness was spread all over.She was looking outside enjoying the journey lost in her own thoughts.The happy face brought a smile to his lips.He looked at his side and found an aged lady looking at him with a doubtful expression.Thats when he realised he was smiling for no reason at all and that woman might be thinking him crazy.
He made a stern face and drove fast back home stopping at a nearby foodstall for their dinner.
