Earlier on it seemed like Jalaal had totally forgotten about the nite to the extent we were screaming.

Then yesterday he made it clear that he hadn't forgotten but didn't seem to  hold a big grudge. He was enjoying her Maalish...something he asked for.

Today it seems like he couldn't bear for her to touch/caress him ...due to that night.

 

Coming to your point, I wondered too... In fact he was almost semi conscious that night and  he could barely stand on his feet.
