So this is basically a story suggestion post. And here I will post as a suggestion 5 stories which I am following out of all others. All those who come across this post, do suggest your favourite 5 too., the ones you feel should get more readers and may not have just because people arnt aware of them.

Just 5 because too many suggestions confuse as to which to follow and this and that and this and that. Just make sure that the story you suggest, you trust its writer enough to believe in her that she would complete it. (if its an ongoing one) ⭐️

okay

1, Sunshine After Rain By Camlin (completed)

Set in 1947, when a young Khushi is saved, amidst the horrors of mindless bloodshed as the lands , hearts and people separate into two nations, by Arnav. What follows is the budding of a heartfluttering emotions alongwith silent support and strength. My most favourite parts in this story are the so innocently intimate ,written so well scenes between them that are tangently  sensual as much as for a reader as for them.
And the writer, Pencil ji, too , is a very sweet person. ⭐️

2. Moments of a Lifetime By Manreet (ongoing)

A series of one shots that span the lifetime of Khushi and Arnav, starting from their childhood as they spend their growing seasons together. Heartwarming , sweet and will just relax you. Its got three main characters- he, she and the evergreen garden. I love it! ⭐️

3. Gupta Home Designs-Your Home , Our Dream By FieryPhoenix (ongoing) Mr. Arnav Architect and Ms. Khushi Architect. Oh no..they arent lifepartners. Not even close to that. Dont let that same same last name fool you. They are very much Gupta and Raizada with a past that had seen them as best of friends, that had seen budding of a love.; with a present that sees them wringing each others throat (or so it seems by the face value) ; and with their love to design homes. Story that makes you want to write those deep emotions wale comments, read to find out what lies behind those -at face value wringing neck emotions- of both.⭐️

By -doe-eyes

Oh! Its doing nothing apart from making me grin from ear to ear with every new drabble. Trust me on this- They really touch your heart with its simplicity and yet so funny, sweet and heartwarming encounters of Arnav and Khushi. So refreshingly new and yet so mundane. ⭐️

5. Gypsy.  (ongoingBy angelzaib

The love story of the Maharaja of Devgarh, Rajasthan, Arnav Singh Raizada and a young half-breed banjaaran girl, Khushi. From the moment he saw her, he was captivated by her. She was also drawn to him. But would their love story be complete? That she loved him completely, there was no question but did the Maharaja love her enough to honor that love? He did what generations before him had done; bring in the differences between their class? Will she forgive him the great dishonour and casual cruelty his actions subjected her to? Will he win her over? Did he love her enough to try to do that?
- This I took from what Angelzaib had put up as an Intro to the story.
But I wish to add here that I love this story, absolutely, for its such impressive detailing in such a simple language. My personal favourite is one of Khushi s dance. I believe its the best! And then the narration of of certain things which if are a result of research by the author then she deserves a hug and if its a result of her creativity then too she deserves a hug! ⭐️

Because they are
Awesome Twosome

Both of these are ongoing. But trust me on this, when you come across somethings like these, to not read it as it goes along wouldn't do. Its not everyday that I come across stories where you know how much the author has worked on them, just by reading one chapter. Hopes and Ambitions and Towards the Edge are very well thought of stories with a narration that wont let you rest until you have caught up with all the chapters which have been posted till now.
Added perk- Both are regularly updated and I trust them with its completion.
Il add a short summary for both later.

Towards The Edge By Camlin

Hopes and Ambitions By ShwetapS

----
A wee little note first. Gypsy has been not updated since long. So those of you planning to read it by finding it through this thread and then get :( :/ on finding it on a break, this is just to inform you.

7th June'14 Edit.
Two more super fab stories.

Serendipity.
Now this needs no introduction. One of the best hate marriage track fanfic. Read on to find how in the world can Zee make you love a totally new male character more than Arnav.

Merger.
A fairly new author has this story in its very initial stage. Though the narration is simple there is something gripping about it all. I am liking this one.

 Thats that!! 😃

Thanks for sharing your favorite work Anupama. please go through my reference and hope it will help the members who would like to read .

1. With or Without you by Invisible Smile ( ongoing) one of my favorite ongoing work. The story is all about two people with different terrible past cross the path. The consequence of the past in their present life.
2.Dawn , Noon and Dusk by Aquasandhya ( ongoing) she is relatively new but I think her work is already famous.
3.It had to be you by Nidsubh007 (ongoing) , The writer is already famous but I think this work need more readers.
4. Trapped by rima ( ongoing) undoubtedly one of the best work of rima, but 30 chapters and only 3 thread which is not enough for a work like this.
5.Vignette by Appurs, one of the best work if you like to read more about the IPKKND characters. Through her stories she explores the relation, layers of each characters which is not properly used in the serial.

Thanks for this post Anu. Am  very happy to be contributing to the  mission 10,000 pages.

I endorse all the stories you've mentioned and all of the above- they are all super stories

👏

I have to add the following fab stories, each and everyone of them is so, so special:

Aria's Liquorice Burning:  https://www.indiaforums.com/forum/topic/3354990

Vgedin's Polemic Jacknapes: https://www.indiaforums.com/forum/topic/3641672

Anonymous: Making Khushi Mine I: https://www.indiaforums.com/forum/topic/3342940

Making Khushi Mine II: https://www.indiaforums.com/forum/topic/3474958

IPK007: this link is to her index: https://www.indiaforums.com/forum/post/71790301

Another fabulous writer:

Anupama- Brewing up is a delightful story. Her latest OSes are superb! Her writing is very subtle and delicate. Her stories don't shake you up or leave you ina turmoil or leave saying awww. They just very gently seep into you and leave you feeling so good.

Here are a few more recos:

Pnars Khushi goes missing after the basketball game' - https://www.indiaforums.com/forum/topic/3264672 Completed

Absolutely one of my most favourite SS's. It is a super read, one of the most fulfilling reads based on what happens after the infamous basketball match

CDlove Her faded footsteps' - https://www.indiaforums.com/forum/topic/3039827

Another superb completed story which takes off after Arnav reveals to Khushi why he married her. I love this simple, uncomplicated story which I have reread many a time as there is something so loveable about it

Farah53 Something about you' - https://www.indiaforums.com/forum/topic/3604731

Fabulous story using the characters of Khushi and Arnav- it is a spell-binding read, you will adore Khushi in this one. Completed.

Fate by _peehu_ - https://www.indiaforums.com/forum/topic/3844103

Another fantastic read. There's some really painful heartbreak in this one, but it never lets you lose hope.

Bluemystique's Index - https://www.indiaforums.com/forum/topic/2996407

Super writer. You must read her Closing the Loops, where she has closed some many of the unsatisfactory loops left unclosed in the show.

I am a bit hesitant about the following recos, mainly because most of these writers are first time writers (or else i have come across them for the the first time)  and these are all ongoing works. I do not wish to do injustice to these lovely writers, but the updates are irregular and I worry a bit that the writers might abandon them. However, i could be very wrong which I sincerely  hope I am. ,

These are all very well written, compelling stories taking off from various points in the show

Coolbakes- Battling Desires- https://www.indiaforums.com/forum/topic/3728971

Srujie Winning you back' - https://www.indiaforums.com/forum/topic/3334678

..enchantress Never healing wounds' -

https://www.indiaforums.com/forum_posts.asp?TID=3638155

Dilectus Adopted'- https://www.indiaforums.com/forum/topic/3741566

The Inkling by Madafterarhi- https://www.indiaforums.com/forum/topic/3543812

This is a brillaintly compelling story. The writing is powerful, it is not at all a comfortable or easy read, yet there is something in the story that pins you down. These are not your usual Arnav and Khushi and Payal- they will shake you up, yet you want to know their stories. I'd say this is a brilliant piece of writing. The story is ongoing, only 14 chapters are done, but I would urge you all to give it a try.

It is probably not everybody's cup of tea, but then there is always the wonderfully refeshing Brewing Up which I can and have read and reread a million times- it is like drinking a fresh cup of tea each time I read it, I promise!

Unforgettable by Vann: https://www.indiaforums.com/forum/topic/3588747

The story is on an open blog.

This story is truly unfrogettable, it is the one story that has left me without words. The writing is brilliant, but more so her development and depiction of the characters of Arnav, Khushi, Akasha nd Payal. I have to confess (apologies Vann, if you are reading this post), each update leaves me so shattered and so overwhelmed by the emotional journeys of Arnav and Khushi that I have not left a single comment appreciation. This is a must read.

Anu this is such a lovely post.. I've been meaning to make such a post for a long time.. but yes I obviously I didn't end up. Thanks for the story recommendations. And I see that these are a bunch of wonderful stories which obviously deserves so much more appreciation than it is getting at the moment. Since I haven't read other stories, I'll only speak of Gypsy...
It has seriously been my favourite story. And I do keep recommending it to everyone, but of course that's not enough. Gypsy deserves soo much more! It's wonderfully written and the language is used is just so simple and beautiful. I would recommend it to all! So thank you for mentioning it.

And I do want to read all the stories from the list, but I'm eagerly waiting to read Sunshine After Rain. Seems like my kinda thing 😃 Thank you for the suggestion anu... why u no suggest this to me before? :x

I'm not reading much at the moment and I can say that I haven't read much either being super choosy and stuff. But most stories I've read/ reading at the moment have had/are currently having a good number of readers except some. And it breaks my heart coz these are such awesome stories and deserve sooo much more.
So my suggestions:-

Okay so this one (as you, TM, must very well be aware) has been my fav ever since the very first chapter.

1--> Brewing Up (completed)

And because I've read the first chapter of this and remember loving it, I'd also suggest this:-

2--> To Have Loved and Lost

Another story which gets me excited is the following. I mean cricket and ASR...uff!😳

3--> Outside the Lines

Of course I would suggest Gypsy but you've already done that 😃

P.S.- My apologies to the authors mentioned here, I badly need to catch up 😃😳
