Fabulous episode after the jungle rumble jumble for so long...Shlok's strategy became much more clear now. And Anjali...the awesome woman, she held the gun to Astha 's head...
Sasural or Maayka...Fight or Flight...
What does one do when cornered...yes you are right ...when cornered and no way out, one retaliates with maximum strength. Anjali gave Astha the opportunity , she pushed her so hard into the corner, even though Astha was readily willing to come for the cake cutting, she stops her and makes her do the vachan. She knows that if Astha comes with her today, she will be forever trapped at Agni Mansion because that is what Niranjan wants. His second bday gift was that Astha should cut her ties with Kirloskers.
If Anjali had not pushed those buttons, Astha would not have burst out like that..!!! Good job Anjali...👏
She would have come for the cake cutting and maybe would have tried to get along or stay at Agni mansion for Niranjan sake..since he saved her father.
So...Anjali pushed Astha's buttons to make her spill the truth. And from there..Shlok takes it up.
Shlok accepts in front of all, that he hates Astha and marriage was a revengeful one.
So now, NA does not have any rights to make Astha stay at Agni mansion!!!
👏Now he or Anjali cannot ask her to break any ties with Kirloskers , because husband has accepted in front of all that he does not want to live with the wife. In that situation who can force the wife to stay there?
In fact if Shlok admitted he loved AStha, that would have posed a bigger difficulty to AStha. Then the question of Sasural or Maayka would have been very very hard to answer. In her love for Shlok, the woman would have probably succumed to the pressure and chosen Sasural.
And would have been trapped exactly the way Anjali is today, with all ties to her parents cut off.!!
Shlok, in his blatent hatred, in his open insult to Astha..actually was giving her an exit door to the cage she has entered. He knows about his fathers second birthday wish, that Astha should be cut off from her family. He makes sure that Astha can go back, and not lose them.
Beintehaan nafrat was really beintehaan pyaar..so much that he can sacrifice his love, his relation , his image in front of the woman he loves, just so that Astha can have the freedom of being with her parents and so that the rest of the people in his family who are plotting against Astha calm down and do not go after her. That lot includes NA, Anjali at NA's orders, Abhay , Sojal and Jaya.
See so many people hate Astha because Shlok loved her...now the same people dont have any reason to hate her because Shlok himself said he hates her and has left her broken.
I dont think Shlok is really angry with Astha at all for not listening to him about his innocence in Avdhoot arrest. He knows that Astha cannot trust him so easlity after he told her that all the buildup until wedding was a farce. He is sad that she is in so much pain. And he is really angry with himself for that. But, as I have always maintained, he is doing all this to protect Astha and Kirloskers from some malintentions of NA.
Today's episode made some things clear. Not only Astha continues to love Shlok, but Shlok also loves Astha like anything. The way he silently admired her guts to talk respectably and humbly to Varad and Sasubai, after all the humiliation Shlok did with her, it clearly showed he admired Astha for that.
Also, it has become very clear that NA's dushmani is with Avsdhoot and Kalindi. Cutting off Astha from them is one form of revenge.The plot papers has huge significance here. NA went through the whole wedding of Shlok with Astha for that damned plot papers. Remember the time Shlok had a file with Avdhoot Kirlosker on it. The main issues are between Anjali, NA, Avdhoot and KAlindi...there is some strong dushmani that will come in the front .
Astha got caught in the currents, innocent , righteous, but unaware of the wolves around her. Shlok is doing all he can to protect her and the Kirloskers from NA. Publicly announcing his hatred for Astha, will make NA feel that Shlok breathes for him.And NA's plans of revenge will cool down a notch. Now , Anjali may soften towards Astha. And Abhay and Sojal will stop plotting against her.
At the same time, he cannot really leave AStha alone because he knows Abhay is waiting for his own revenge with Astha about the Ashram thing and Jyoti support. So even now, Shlok will try his best to keep Astha with him 24/7 to make sure she is safe from all these preying animals.
He will leave her alone only that day when he is assured that all the people who want to harm Astha are at bay. And then he will let her decide things for herself...he will keep the distance and let her choose her path. Thats what he did at the hut when he she was shivering. He gave her protection and honour in the white sari , sat by her but kept the distance. He will leave the final choice to her, but only after he eliminates all threats to her.
