Yeah! I went to a Rajput wedding and offered to stay back as the grooms mom and bua had to stay home to receive the bride ! They did not attend the wedding! I had to fight drag and get approval finally! Its a fact! The people I am talking about live in cities work in fortune 500 companies but follow their traditions as the groom's mom should not attend as the diya that is kept in the house must go on till the bride comes home!!!
