It is not easy to get lead roles, and that too one that is a role you want and like. Ashish Sharma for instance, weht from lead to co-lead, to lead. Mohit Malik had a lead role, then took up many non lead roles, now to finally have a lead role again.

If the show really has a finite run of six months, then he took a good decision.
