Ahmedabad, the Kite Capital of Gujarat is gearing up in style to welcome the summer. With the
festival of Uttarayan to kick-start (the harvesting
season) with Makar Sankranti, television is ready
to capture the grandeur of the festival.
And Fireworks Productions has already chalked
their plans to shoot in Ahmedabad.
Yes, the team of the long-running show CID on
Sony Entertainment Television will be shooting a
twin episode series in Ahmedabad from 12 January
2014.
A source from the show informed us that the unit
plans to cover the Kite Festival in Ahmedabad.
Also, the story will be woven around the beautiful
locales of the Sabarmati lake. The team also plans
to shoot few sequences at the Lion Safari at the Gir
National Park.
When contacted, Producer BP Singh remained
unavailable for comments.
We hear that this interesting story shot in
Ahmedabad will be aired on 24 and 25 January
2014.
