Balika Vadhu 6-1-14 Written Update

KB :-

Sanchi poisoning Ira to let Anup know about Shiv being his son, Ira says not all decisions can be made thinking about self, one has to think for family's feeling too and you will understand this the day you value family values .

Jagan room : -

G wants to drink water, she checks the jug which is empty, she stands up, DS wakes up and sees G trying to pull her stuck pallu, its taken off but she looses balance but DS saves her just in time .

After making her sit, DS scolds her with concern that she should be careful and she should ask DS for anything she needs .

G's eyes are welled, DS is lil calm, G says the tears are due to her scolding of concern , she says says she stood up to get water, DS assures her from next time she will always check the jug and gives a stick to her to tap it to wake her up if she needs something .

Orphanage :-

Ansh with the warden, they are in the playing room , A sees a boy whom she adores at first sight, he is on the floor drawing, a kaka comes and says its time for the garden walk, he picks the boy and places him on the wheel chair .

Ansh are shocked and sad to that especially A, she hounches in front of the boy and glare him with pity and sadness, Shiv extends his hand of friendship towards the boy, he shakes hand with shiv, she asks warden about the child, she says he is suffering from leg arthritis, he can't walk, he is recently shifted him here and he is in this orphanage since 6 years as no one wants to adopt a deformed child .

A says only because of a child is handicapped, he shouldn't be deprived from parent's love, Shiv asks A that she wants to adopt him doesn't she? A gestures yes, they ask the warden whether they can adopt him or not?
Warden gladly agrees .

G treatment room : P: -

G on the bed, nurse beside , she hears M crying loudly , she hurriedly gets up, the nurse stops her in time .
DS comes there too and asks why she has to get up again? G says M is crying , did he hurt himself?
DS says no nothing such, he is being stubborn for a toy but J is there to handle him .

KB , hall : -

A photo of group of children is shown, all adore the children, CM sadly says unfortunately they have no parents, now Ansh show the boy's photo, they like the boy more than other children, dadu says there's
something special about him, A says we want to adopt him bu t he has leg arthritis and can't walk, all are shocked . Ira and Anup disagree on adopting him, they give reasons that he will be left behind in this competitive world and it will be hard for Ansh too .

Shiv says they will take great care of him and he will try taking the boy to the best doctors for the treatment, dadu and alok are convinced and says if Ansh can handle the responsibility then they support their decision .

Ira and sanchi are giving a burnt look while Anup is casual .

G's treatment room : -

DS along with J brings M and places him on G's lap, she cuddles him, then she sees his bandaged hand, she
worriedly asks J and DS how he was wounded? J after exchanging looks with DS says he fell while playing.
G lovingly asks M is it hurting much? He says no in his child like voice, DS picks up M .

Voice over : - Time keeps on passing but a mother's live has never been changed .

Precap : A lady asks the shekars whether they are
sure the boy will be comfortable with them as he doesn't belong to the family and is handicapped too.Sanchi snaps out this days its difficult to raise normal children, how much more it will be for a child like him? Shiv bhaiya and Anandi bhabhi will give up too .

Thanks for update. Could not watch first 15 minutes of episode. Ira actually said this -" not all decisions can be made thinking about self, one has to think for family's feeling too and you will understand this the day you value family values"  to Sanchi?

I am not very convinced with this adoption track from AnSh point of view,  let alone pressures from elder Shekhars, Sa or pressures of handling a disabled child.

 

The whole adoption track (whether Anuja or Amol or another child) does not appear convincing as far as AnSh are concerned.

 

I don't get why Anandi does not want to have her own biological child first before adopting. Wouldn't it be nice if she experiences motherhood and understands a child's needs before adopting another child. That way she would be more experienced. Shiv also comes across quiet clueless in this matter and he is more happy that Anandi is happy. For Anandi it feels like she is fulfilling another social responsibility to set an example in the society rather than fulfilling her desire to be a mother.

 The adoption track is good, but does not fit with AnSh. I don't think they are that capable enough to suddenly generate parental love for a child (especially a 6 year old) who equally understands that they are not his real parents. I find it hard to accept that a woman who is childless today has a 6 year old in her lap tomorrow. How will she generate motherly love over-night?

 Women undergoing pregnancy develop a bond with the child and the parents start feeling the love for their child while it is in the womb. For those who cannot conceive and choose to adopt are lot more ready mentally to welcome an adopted child. They usually have a dying desire to parent a child. While some others adopt after they have had their own biological child/ren. What is Anandi's motivation and how will she connect?

 Agree she felt some genuine connection with Amol, but is that enough to parent him? That genuine connection might make her a good care-taker, but can that make her a good mother?

 Ganga - DS scenes were good, but this pregnancy track is stretched. I wish CVs had stretch the development of J-G love story instead of  get them married haphazardly, and then immediately jumping on to pregnancy and stretching it.
