That might be a possibility but I don't think he is doing that to protect Astha. It would be inconsistent with his characterization I think. Its more of his ego which is playing out right now. Its his ego that made him point his fingers & ask Astha to get out. Its his ego that is blinding him from accepting what he feels about Astha.

no dear..even i feel same...
or may be..we dont want shlok to behave this way after what we saw in jungle track...
but i have feeling...shlok has done enough bad already...cvs have some strong reason for his todays behaviour...

I don't think Varad is evil at all..

All the Agnihotri men are not evil in my mind.. Do you feel chacha is evil also then?

In my mind, both of them are very weak characters..

They can't voice themselves, but appreciate when someone speaks for right..!!

The same reason Vinayak tries to awake the old Anjali, Varad also appreciates Aastha for her nature, care for the family..

I believe genuinely Varad cares for Aastha, something he never saw in Sojal.. and he is affectionate towards Aastha, the same way as he is towards Shlok..
