Dear Madam,
Ref:- Few reasons for the fans being upset
I am writing to you on
behalf of Karan Singh Grover fan's who are hurt deeply due to the injustice
caused to him by the channel. I would like to bring to your notice certain facts
that should be well known to everyone along with the channel.
1. We started
watching Qubool Hai for Karan Singh Grover and convincingly encouraged others
to do it to.
2. Time and again
the plot of the story was hampered. For instance the Tanveer track and the
Haseena track, we kept on watching it for Karan Singh Grover and Surbhi Jyoti hoping
that with time the story would move on to its original plot leaving behind the
irrational and illogical tracks.
3. Then came the Haseena
and Ajmeer track. We continued watching QH even when KSG's Scenes were slowly
reducing and illogical Tanveer and Haseena's scenes were being used as
substitute..
4. Then came the
accidental Nikaah which was a total mockery of the ISLAMIC cultute. And technically
speaking invalid as well. No nikaah in the Islam culture can be done this. It
not only hurt the sentiments of a section of society but also did not make
sense. Taking away the whole essence of the story.
5. Followed by the
trading of a woman to safeguard another woman's marriage. Illegal and inhumane
things. Again making a mockery of relationships. Repeatedly women's have been
shown as the weaker sex.
6. Screen space
for Karan got reduced to 5 mins a week yet we continued to watch hoping for a
brighter future for the show and waited for a little glimpse of our favorite
Hero.
Just when things were starting to look good
after 15 months Zee throws the bomb on us saying that they Sacked him with all
the reasons written in the 1st letter. How does Zee expect the FANS to react
after all of this?
The current situation
has disappointed and hurt us in ways that unimaginable. We feel betrayed as
fans and as viewers because no one from the channel's side have ever thought
about us, the loyal viewers. Also, we have discovered that the channel, that we
thought would always listen to their fans , has now let us down. Not only our
requests are being neglected but also are being insulted numerous times by the
channel's staff. Making a mockery out of our emotions.
All of the above has
made us loose our trust in you and your work and that is why many of us have
decided to unsubscribe to your channel and many more are willing to do so in
the couple of days that are to come. Your approach towards this situation has
affected your viewers who are afraid that this situation may happen again in
the future and hence they are not willing to invest, once again, time and
emotions in one of your shows.
We have been loyal fans
of Qubool Hai since day 1 and have never skipped an episode even when our
beliefs were being insulted. Ranging from illogical tracks to hurting the religious
sentiments, we've have always been loyal. But have never got the same in
return.
We want to add that we
do not want anyone else playing Asad and our only request is for you to finish
this wonderful story with the original jodi of Asya: Karan and Surbhi. In our hearts,
there are only one pair who can play Asad and Zoya, and that is Karan and
Surbhi. This story was started with them and should finish with them as well.
We request you to finish the present Qubool Hai season with its original cast
and then if needed start a new season in a few months with the actors of your
choice.
Not to forget the way
the channel has treated the actor defaming him, and putting false allegations.
The only question that arises from your statements is that why the delay of
replacing him if he was so unprofessional ? No actor deserves to be treated
this way whether its Karan or anyone else. Its just not acceptable. We thus
request you to get him back with all due respect.
As fans and public we
are kindly requesting you to listen to our pleas and take into consideration
all the efforts we have made. I think time has come for you to listen and care
about your viewers instead of just ignoring them, because that will only make our
resolution strong of going against you and continue with the campaign.
Hereby, I give some of
the fans who have unsubscribed zee channel.
