Am very proud of our BV's Udaipur district collector Shivraj Shekhar and the BV makers today. They have been practicing for ages what the govt. has announced only now. Austerity.

Read this morning that CM of Rajasthan wants its govt officials to cut security, not take lavish govt. houses andhave been asked not to use police escort, not to keep a second official car, not to use the services of office staff, cooks etc at their homes and stay away from hosting meals at five star hotels at government expense.

Our Shivraj Shekhar has been doing this right from the beginning. Way to go.😃

Our Shiv babu has no police, stays in own house, barely has own staff at home, hardly has office staff, probably uses own car for travelling forget about second official car. Moms and wife cook. To top it all he and his wifey go to dhabas for their romantic meals😆

We used to make fun of him for not behaving like a babu but he had the last laugh.⭐️

Many times people harbour desires, wishes, a need to do something that remain dormant. One wants to do things but not take the first step. Or maybe the situation has not presented itself. This could be in the personal or professional sphere of life. 

A slight push, a helping hand, companionship of a like minded individual often help in bringing these dormant desires to the fore.

I feel that in Shiv's case this is what has happened. He is no different from Anandi. He too could have in his heart felt right about adoption in general but this was not a priority. Anandi has always taken the bull by the horn. She voiced her inner desire to adopt first after visiting orphanage. This desire was not in conflict with Shiv's innermost feelings. He was open to it. 😊

His question to her that "would she not like her own child first" was just to ensure that Anandi was serious about it. Were Shiv not in favour of adoption, he could have refused outright. After all at the end of the day, a child is not a toy and the responsibility of a child has to be borne by both.

These are two happy individuals who thrive on each other's support and companionship and want to do right by the world.😳
