The Vigil Idiot: Dhoom 3

Ah, the last big release of the year! I was hoping this would be something special and, boy, did Aamir Khan (playing twin heisters Sahir and Samar) deliver! Vijay Krishna Acharya's Dhoom 3 is that rare gem of a film that gets everything so spectacularly wrong, you can't help but marvel at the effort it must have taken to come up with something so stupid. Granted, a star cast that comprises Abhishek Bachchan (ACP Jai), Uday Chopra (sidekick Ali) and Katrina Kaif (Leggy McLeggerson) doesn't inspire much confidence in the acting department. But when you're going to copy the script from sources like The Prestige and The Dark Knight, you expect something by way of a story, right? Right? Oh, well. Merry Christmas to us all, anyway!
