Article - TT - MJay & Tara on a warpath!

Hello Guys...

It's been a while right? Well looks like I am back to writing Analysis and Symbolism for the various Hit Shows on Television starting with Life OK's Ek Boond Ishq. Being and avid follower of the show which I believe is one of the prerequisite for any writer who deals with Analyzing the episode/show...I must say that I am spellbound at the way Ek Boond Ishq has turned out within months of it's launch. With such an interesting development in the show it's quite impossible to not write something about it.

Today's episode opens with Nandini and Aditya's Scene and it looks like Nandini is on a War Path of her own...Even though she knows the truth, knows deep down inside her heart that Aditya and Meethi were married long back since her affair with Aditya, she refuses to accept it and ends up creating her own version of the story where Adi got married to Meethi after he fell in love with Nandu and that he is unhappy with the wedding etc etc (This was mouthed by Nandu a few episodes back). But Nandini's actions speak otherwise, it looks like she could care less if Aditya was married before or after the duo had an affair...and currently all her energy is focused on attaining him by hook or crook and judging by the episode there is not doubts regarding the lengths she can go for the same. With the help of Yug, who seems to have a motive of his own, she ended up at the Shekhawat house for 4 whole days, being Tara's sister has given her the freedom and the edge she needs to make Adi realize that she is not a girl who he can use and throw, and as of now it does look like it's working too.

Thakur Jayraj ki Jai Ho!!!! What more can I say...His timing in tonight's episode was Perfect!!! He entered the Shekhawat Mansion openly displaying his frustration at the Fire Incident and promising to Tara of all the people that he would find the Culprit no matter what. Tara starts to panic and this isn't the first time that it has happened (Dark Room Incident). Thankgod for TJS the viewers could see what MJ is actually capable of if...I repeat IF he wanted. If MJ wanted, if he truly wished to make Tara pay for setting the Stable on fire, he could easily do it. Just him stating that the person who put the Stable on fire was somebody belonging to this family, residing in this very house...he managed to drain the color off of Tara's face and make her sweat...In other words "Ungli tak nahi utthayi aur itna kuch kar gaya."

We all knew for sure even before the scene aired that MJ would never take Tara's name and would tell that it was his fault that his carelessness had caused the fire outbreak just like he did the other day in the Dard Room, but even in those few seconds we saw that if MJ wanted to play, he would but he simply did not want to and from his self thought's yesterday the reason behind it is more than obvious. He believes that after all that he has put Tara through, she had every right to torture him without complaining even when it was killing him to see his memories being burned down to the ground. But his actions have more depth than what we see...Earlier he used to torture Tara because he hoped that she would walk away from his live and the marriage. Today more than Tara walking away he needs her to hate him, because from the very little he knows about her the only way she would keep herself away from him is if she hated him to the last drop of blood. He is simply allowing her to have her fill so that when he goes back to prison (His Belief) she wouldn't have any regrets left. that he knows about and he was allowing her to have her fill, because according to him that's the least he could do for her.

OK Seriously what is Tara upto??? Till a few episodes back it looked like there was a purpose for all this against all odds but now it looks plain abusive!!! Male ya Female abuse, abuse hota hai!!! First she ruined the dark room which was very dear to MJ, which was like a part of MJ's very existence, then she went on to destroy the Stable which was also a like a part of MJ's existence...She did manage to hide away some memories because she realized it's value (Tara's own words) So in other words it wouldn't be wrong to say that she was destroying that side of MJ which he is not but tries to be...say his alter-ego will be destroyed. Today that purpose is fading away.

Tara is clearly on a Warpath !!!! She wants MJ to feel all that she went through and so the pattern she is following is similar. She is making sure that her every action, her every word reminds him of what he has done to her and well she does succeed. But is this truly Tara?? Lets face it...Tara has clearly crossed a line this time. Yes we don't want to see Abla Naari's Madad ke Maari's on TV these days...We all want to see a Progressive Woman, a woman with modern thinking and who has a fighting spirit. One who refuses point blank to serve as Doormats, who wouldn't tolerate atrocities chup-chap. Tara is one such woman but her timing is awfully wrong. It would have made sense to fight back the monster that was MJ was then irrespective of whatever his reasons were to put up the Monster Mask. It was then that Tara should have complained to Baba...Today she created a scenario to tell Baba that MJ had left her on the road why wouldn't she do it then when he actually dropped her in the middle of the road while going for the Pag Phere Ritual? At that time she decided to be a doormat, so how does it make sense to fight a man who is obviously doing nothing, not even retorting to her actions?

It makes sense to fight when you are being tortured like the Dinng hall scene in tonight's episode...While asking for the File from Tara who was doing her best to irritate MJ, there comes a point when he loses his cool, raises his voice and forcefully grabs Tara by her elbow...What does she do? She looks him in the eye and tell him to stay in his limit. Which was Bang On!!! This is what makes sense...All that she is doing now were spposed to be done when MJ was hurting her, but back then she took in all the pain...Why? If earlier MJ was wrong for hurting Tara and making her life hell what Tara is doing now is equally wrong and brutal. MJ kept torturing Tara and all that while she was silent

Looks like Tara is desperately trying to prove to MJ that she is not Bebas and Laachar, something she couldn't do earlier... It was evident from her dialogue in tonight's episode that she needs to get this message across to him though he very well knows it...It's a message received loud and clear. When MJ and Tara interacted face to face as friends without knowing that they were married, that he was her husband and she was his wife... MJ saw Tara for who she is...When Tara mustered the courage to tell MJ to stay in his limits, that she wouldn't tolerate if he hurt her ever again on Diwali he was instantly reminded of the conversation he had with the "Stable wali Ladki" and when finally he came to know that his friend and his wife was one and the same, I am pretty sure that he knew she is anything but Bebas and Laachar.

If she wanted to get across the message that she is not a weakling, Tara should known by now that she has done a pretty good job at it but NO...She wants MJ to feel the pain, the suffering but for a Man who awaits death, that too for a murder not committed by him, will other pains and sufferings truly matter? Every minute, Every second of the day he knows that he is going to die isse badi baat aur ho kya sakta hai MJ ke liye?

With the Precap that shows Rudra Pratap slap MJ for entering his room, the makers have surely got the Viewers hooked for tomorrows Episode.
