Mere wallo sarea nu Gurpurab diyan lakh lakh vadhayian
@Jot don't worry about the word, because i think it's correct in both the ways, if i'm not wrong i had seen it written a lot of time also with the W.
For eg. also the word Gurupurab can be written like Gurpurab.
even thought i think the second one is the correct one as the word Guru is written in a different way (in punjabi) rispect the word Gur that came in the shabad Gurpurab.
