I think they may jus pretend being married bt shlok vl do chance pe dance wont spare a chance to hv sr in hum tum kamre me bandh🤣 shadi nakli ho ya asli shadi hoti hai

I don't know much about it..but from where I come...any girl other than a widow can perform any pooja related to devi.So many be that's the case here too...I do have a kuldevi too but I 'm from south India..so I can't say much about this one...

You are right customs varies from place to place and from family to family...this isn't a hard and fast rule...even a widow could participate. Nothing against this is specifically said anywhere for most of the Devi pujas...it just how your own view point is...
