The article clearly states, CONTRIBUTION toward Indian cinema. Not any actor can get doctorate for just being in  a movies.

Some people don't know there is a thing called Honorary Doctorate...People like Bill Gates and Sachin Tendulkar have received it...Maybe we should call Bill Gates illiterate too for dropping out of college and receiving doctorate degree??😉😆

Lol Honorary Doctorates are really of no use. Not like he will flaunt it by calling himself Dr Aamir Khan. Ofcourse it will feel good to have the certificate framed and hanging it in his room. 👍🏼 He doesn't really buy awards,so he is getting appreciation this way.😛Edited by .DejaVu - 10 years ago
