CHAPTER 67. NK ENTERS AND CREATES CHAOS!
Day 2 at Sheeshmahal
Saturday
"Samajhte kya hain apne aapko? Rakshas kahin ke! Aisa koi bartaav karta hai kya? Sataane ki bhi had hoti hai! Yeh theek nahi hai Devi Maiyya! Rakshas jo kar rahe hain yeh sahi nahi hai!", Khushi grumbled as she made Jalebis in anger. The whole night she could not sleep due to Arnav's thoughts and antics haunting her mind and hence the first thing she did next day morning was hunting for Sheeshmahal's kitchen and making Jalebis. As it was barely 5 in the morning, none of the servants were in the kitchen and hence, Khushi was able to work on her Jalebis without disturbance.
"Oh! So I am back to being Rakshas! Interesting!", Arnav mumbled as he stood at the threshold of the kitchen leaning on the doorframe with his arms folded against his chest and a tender expression on his face as he stared at his Afreen. He had woken up due to a phone call from his foreign client and could not go back to sleep. So he came to the kitchen to get some tea only to find his Afreen complain to her Devi Maiyya about what kind of Rakshas he was! He stared at for a while and then mumbled, "Rakshas kehti ho na mujhe! Ab main tumhein kaise sataata hoon dekh lo!"
"Khushi continued to make Jalebis and eat them as she complained to Devi Maiyya about Arnav when suddenly she heard someone speak from behind her, "Afreen Sweetheart? Get me some tea!" Khushi absentmindedly replied, "Ji! Abhi Laayi!" She wiped her hands against the kitchen cloth and turned towards the Fridge nearby to get the milk out when she froze as she realized what exactly had happened. She turned around and looked at Arnav in shock. And what did Arnav do? He just smirked at her and waved Hi to her. Khushi continued to look at him stupefied. Arnav unfolded his hands and stood straight. He took few steps ahead, "Maine tumhein Afreen bulaaya, tumhein usse koi problem nahi hua!" He took few more steps, "Maine tumhein sweetheart kahaa, iska bhi koi reaction nahi diya!" He came close to her and mumbled, "Chai laane ko kahaa toh aise reply diya jaise ek ladki apne pati ko deti hai! Ab main ise kya samjhun Afreen? Kehti ho ki raaste alag hai par dil se tum bhi mujhe apna sab kuch samajhti ho! Ab bataao yeh sab jaanne ke baad main kaise kisi aur se shaadi kar loon?" Khushi looked at him speechless at his words.
Arnav moved closer to Khushi and they were so close that they could feel each other's breath on their faces. Arnav slowly trailed his fingers from her hand to her shoulder and she felt her breath hitch. His hands reached her neck and then her cheek. His thumb trailed to her lips and Khushi closed her eyes tightly. Arnav continued to mumble, "Kyun Khushi? Kyun mujhse door jaa rahi ho jab main tumhaari manzil hoon? Chod do yeh zidd! Ban jaao meri! Apna lo mujhe! Yeh Rakshas ko apni Afreen chaahiye! Is Raanjhe ko apni Heer Chaahiye! Haan kardo Khushi aur mujhe iss jhoote bandhan se, is jhoote rishte, Lavanya ke saath shaadi se, aazaad kardo!" Khushi was about to say Yes' when the word Lavanya' brought her out of her dreamland and sent her crashing down into the reality; the reality where if Arnav broke his engagement to Lavanya, Lavanya would be left alone in this world as people refused to get their son married to a girl with broken engagement. Her eyes opened in shock and she pushed Arnav away. Arnav, who was lost in Khushi, was shocked to be pushed so violently. He looked at Khushi in confusion. Khushi glared at him, "Door! Door rahiye humse! Aap humaare Jijaji hain aur humpe meherbaani hogi agar yeh baat aap yaad rakh sakein!" Arnav's confusion gave way to his anger as Khushi's word registered in his brain. He marched towards her and grabbed her arms tightly. He hissed through his teeth, "Kya kahaa tumne? Door rahun? Abhi thodi der pehle toh tum aur hi kuch chaahti thi!" "Chodiye humein!", Khushi said with fire in her eyes. Arnav gave her an angry smirk, "Never!" "Chodiye!", Khushi almost shouted. Arnav pulled her close and glared at her, "Kyun Chodun? Mujhe tum meri baahon mein achchi lagti ho." Both froze as the words sent them into the past where Arnav had said the same words to Khushi when they first met. Arnav's grip on Khushi's arms loosened and but both did not move. Arnav softly sighed as all his anger drained out. "Afreen!", he whispered feeling sad that she was still determined to fight against him and his love. His whisper was enough to bring Khushi back to reality. She moved away from Arnav and looked away.
Khushi's face showed distress while Arnav's face showed love and longing for her. She mumbled softly, "Hum aapke Afreen nahi hai! Hum Khushi hain!" Arnav shook his head as he stared at her seriously, "Naah! You are my Afreen!" Khushi looked at him and glared, "Khushi!" Arnav smirked, "Afreen!" Khushi looked at him in disgust, "Khushi!" Arnav shrugged and looked at her innocently, "Afreen!" Khushi looked away wanting to bash Arnav's head with something, "Khushi!" Arnav looked as if he was contemplating her words and then shook his head, "Afreen!" Khushi could not handle it anymore, "Khushi, Khushi, KHUSHI!" She nearly screamed her name the last time. Arnav realized how close Khushi was to breakdown and relented, "Fine! Khushi!" Khushi took a deep breath at Arnav's words. She turned to walk out of the room when Arnav piped up, "But shaadi ke baad I will call you Afreen only, Haan?" Khushi turned around and replied, "Aisa kabhi nahi hoga! Humaari shaadi aapse nahi hogi! Hum yeh kabhi hone hi nahi denge!" Khushi turned around and stomped away. Arnav just smirked, "Keep on thinking that Afreen! Maybe one day you might actually believe it! But do remember, sach toh yahi hai! Tum meri thi, meri ho aur meri rahogi!" He walked away dreaming about his Afreen.
An hour later, G barged into the kitchen. Now why was she awake at such an early hour? That's because she could not sleep the whole night due to excitement. Now why was she excited? Arre! Her Maan was in the same building she was! Now how can she sleep when her mind kept on reminding her that if she wanted to she can sneak into Maan's room anytime she wanted? Of course, she did not do that! What kind of girl do you take her to be? Our Geet is very good girl. She won't do such things! But that did not stop her from thinking about sneaking into her Maan's room! And hence, Geet was up early and into the kitchen to eat something. She looked around and her eyes lit up when she noticed Jalebis on one counter. "Jalebi?", she exclaimed in delight and wandered over to the counter. She pulled out one and bit into it. "Mmm... Delicious! Kitna achcha bana hai! Par kisne banaaya?" She thought for a while and then rolled her eyes, "Aur kaun bana sakta hai? Meri KB ne banaaya hoga! Wahi toh Jalebi expert hai! Wow! Kitne tasty hain! Ek baar KB aur AB ki shaadi hone do phir roz banvaaungi Jalebiyaan unse!" She took another bite and moaned as the Jalebi dissolved into her mouth. Then she frowned as she remembered that according to AB, Khushi made Jalebis only when she was worried, confused, angry or feeling any other emotion extremely. Par aisa kya hua jo KB ne yeh aaj banaaya? She wondered and then her eyes widened. Arre! Kal KB aur AB ko akela choda tha na maine? Bas yeh uska asar hoga! She giggled and gobbled another Jalebi! After having atleast 2 more, she looked around. Hey Babaji! Jalebi se kaise pet bharega? Mujhe aur kuch chaahiye! Par kya? She looked around for inspiration when it struck her. Parathe! After all, GM ko bhi toh parathe pasand hain. She grinned happily and started getting the ingredients ready for it.
In the next one hour, Geet had made enough parathas to feed the whole house. After having her fill, she placed the parathas in airtight containers and started keeping the ingredients back into their places. As she entered the fridge to place the butter, she heard someone enter the kitchen.
Maan entered the kitchen after having his jog and shower. He had locked his room door tightly since yesterday so that Geet could not go in, to choose his clothes. Geet had already tried entering late night, wanting to choose his night clothes but soon she got the message and decided to cancel any plans regarding choosing his clothes. As Maan entered the kitchen, he heard someone rummaging into the fridge. Not knowing who it was, he sat on a stool nearby and leaned on the counter placed right in the middle of the room. Surrounding him, the kitchen had counters fixed to the walls made out of marble. The counter in the middle had stools surrounding it. He spoke up, "Kya khaane ko kuch hai yahaan? Bahut bhook lagi hai!"
Geet's eyes widened as she realized who had arrived. She grinned eagerly and moved away from the fridge. Maan's eyes widened as Geet turned around and chirped, "Haan haina! Paratha hai! Maine abhi abhi banaaya! Abhi aapko paros deti hoon!" She turned around happily to the counter attached to the wall where she had made parathas in the morning so that she could serve it to him, feeling happy that she was getting to serve her handmade parathas to him. But Maan did not let her be happy too much, "No thanks! Main yeh apple khaa loonga!" He picked up an apple place in a bowl on the middle counter while Geet turned and looked at him sorrowfully. Aap aisa kyun karte ho Maan? She turned back to the kitchen counter and started putting the parathas back into the container.
Geet was in the process of putting the parathas into the container when she heard Maan shout, "Ouch!" She turned in shock only to see that Maan had cut his finger while trying to cut the apple. Geet ran towards him in worry. She grabbed his hand and pulled it closer to look at it, ""Hey Babaji! Jo kaam karna aata nahi hai woh kaam aap karte hi kyun ho!" Maan looked at Geet in surprise as Geet dragged him to the sink and washed his cut while mumbling about how he did not know how to take care of himself. Maan just stared at her. His mind went back a year and he remembered the day he had cut himself while dicing onions and Soni had worried for him the same way. He continued to stare at Geet as Geet pulled out a medicine box and dressed his cut. Geet looked up after wrapping the bandage and stilled as Maan stared at her with love in his eyes. She stared into his eyes and he slowly raised his other hand and caressed her cheeks. Geet's face turned red at his touch but she did not look away. He pushed back a strand of hair which was lingering on her face and she shyly looked down. His hand reached her chin and he slowly lifted it so that her eyes could meet his. Geet shyly mumbled, "Maan!". And Maan was brought out of his dreamland. He pulled his hand away as he realized what he was doing. He looked away trying to ignore his rising feelings. Geet continued to look at him with a shy smile on her face. "Maan", she again whispered with hope in her heart but her hopes were all dashed away as Maan moved 10 paces back and glared at her, "Door ho jaao! Door ho jaao meri mujhse! Mujhe tumhaare paas nahi rehna!" Geet's jaw dropped open as she stared at Maan speechless. She took a deep breath and huffed, "Fine! Chali jaati hoon!" She turned and walked away while mumbling, "Samajhte kya hain apne aapko. Ek toh davaai lagaayi maine aur yeh hain ki mujhe hi daant rahe hain. Dekh loongi main inhe. Dekh loongi..."
Maan could hear Geet's mumblings as she stalked away. After few minutes, when Maan was sure that Geet was not coming back, Maan walked towards the container containing the parathas. He pulled out the parathas and placed few parathas on a plate. As soon as he placed the first morsel in his mouth his eyes closed and he nearly moaned. He opened his eyes and stared at the parathas. Wahi swaad! Wahi Soni waala swaad! He smiled sadly as he remembered how she had made him eat parathas instead of English breakfast a year back. "Kitne dino baad main yeh kha raha hoon!", Maan mumbled as he continued to relish the parathas, "Kaash yeh Geet ne nahi Soni ne banaaye hote! Meri uss Soni ne jisse maine pyaar kiya, jisne mujhse pyaar kiya tha, aur jisne mujhse waada kiya tha ki woh kabhi mujhe chodke nahi jaayegi! Kyun gayi mujhse door tum Soni? Kyun?" He took the plate and sat on the stool missing his Soni.
Geet smiled as tears fell through her eyes. After storming out of the kitchen, she had come back to see what Maan would do next. And seeing him eat her parathas had made her very happy. But then his words made her cry, "Main yahin hoon, Maan! Bas aapko yeh samajhne ki der hai! Aapko bhool gayi toh kya hua phir bhi aayi hoon na waapis aapke paas! Kheech laaya na aapka pyaar mujhe! Main agar un yaadon ko bhool gayi toh kya? Yaadein toh nayi bhi ban sakti haina Maan? Bas Maan bas! Ab toh main phir se aapki zindagi mein shaamil hokar rahungi! Kyunki jab babaji hi chaahte hain ki hum ek ho toh aap kaun hote hain mujhe rokne waale!" She wiped her tears and walked away thinking of another plan to woo Maan.
It was 10 in the morning and everyone except Lavanya and Geet gathered in the hall after their breakfast to talk and chatter about the wedding preparations. Surrounding them, servants were running around putting up newly arrived curtains and making beds with newly arrived bed sheets and pillow covers from the store and cleaning various rooms as from next day guests from abroad and other cities were to start coming. Infact, today itself a guest was supposed to arrive.
Fluttering amongst the servants was Geet who was instructing the servants on how to decorate a special room for the arriving guest. Naani looked at Khushi, "Khushi bitiya! Lavanya bitiya kahaan hai? Dikhai ke nai padi?" As Naani voiced the question, everyone realized the same thing and looked around. Arre! Naani was right! Lavanya was not here. Everyone looked at Khushi curiously. Khushi smiled at them, "Di so rahi thi, abhi uthi hain! Woh kal ek graahak ke yahaan mithaai dene gayi thi toh raaste mein rickshaw kharaab hui aur isliye unhein paidal jaana pada! Toh kal se bahut thaki hain! Isliye jyaada so gayi!" Everyone nodded at her reply when suddenly Geet came into the hall hollering after a curtain holding servant, "ARRE! WOH RANG WAALE PARDE NAHI! GM KO WOH RANG PASAND NAHI!" The servant nodded and went to store room to choose another curtain. Anjali amusedly looked at her baby sister, "Baby! Shaant ho jaao!" Geet huffed and pouted as she stopped nearby Anjali, "Kaise shaant ho jaaun AD? Dekhona! Curtains ab tak ready nahi hai! Woh aata hi hoga na!" She huffed and stormed away as Naani and Daadi looked at her amusedly. Paayal, who was sitting beside Aakash, leaned sideways and whispered, "Yeh aapki behen ko hua kya hai?" Aakash shook his head amusedly and whispered back, "Tum khud apni nanad se pooch lo!" Someone cleared their throat and the couple turned to look at Arjun who pointedly stared at them. They blushed and moved away and Arjun smirked. He was enjoying his revenge!
Khushi confusedly looked at Geet as Geet again came into the scene shouting for another servant, "GM KE KAMRE MEIN FLOWER VASE KYUN NAHI HAI? Jaldi ek flower vase ka intezaam kijiye!" Another servant nodded and ran off. Khushi worriedly looked at Geet and then turned to look at Anjali, "Anjaliji! Yeh Geetji ko hua kya hai?" Anjali huffed, "Kuch hua nahi hai! Koi aa raha hai! Aisa koi jise Baby ne paanch saal se dekha nahi! Bas isliye yeh excited aur nervous hai aur nervousness mein sab pe chilla rahi hai!" Paayal spoke up, "Par aisa kaun aa raha hai?" Maami butted in, "Hello Hi Bye Bye! Koi aisan waisan naahi! Koi ekdum ispesal (Special) aavat hai!" By now the Guptas and Khuranas were fully confused and curious about the person arriving.
Anjali took pity on them and explained, "Humaari Maamiji ki jiji ke ladke, NK, aa rahe hain!" Madhumati Bua burst out, "Haayre Nandkisore!" and whole Raizada clan burst out laughing. Buaji looked at them confused and Aakash explained, "Buaji! Mere bhai ka poora naam Nandkishore hai!" Rest of them got the joke and everyone chuckled and laughed at the joke. Anjali continued to speak, "Woh Australia main pale bade hain aur wahin rehte hain! Haan! Jab chote the toh teen baar chuttiyon mein Maamiji ki Jiji ke saath India aaye the par ab kuch paanch che saal hogaye use dekhe hue! Humaari shaadi mein bhi nahi aa paaye kyunki uske exams chal rahe the! Woh yahaan Chote aur Chutke ki shaadi ke liye aa rahe hain! Aur shaadi ke ek hafte baad chale jaayenge!" Arnav interrupted with, "Thank God! I don't think I can handle him more than that!" Anjali narrowed her eyes at him and Arnav looked away.
Anjali continued speaking, "Woh umar mein Geet se do saal bade hain isliye uski aur Baby ki badi banti thi! Teen hi baar woh India aaye the, jab dono bachche the! Phir bhi unki itni gehri dosti hui, jo aaj bhi nahi tooti hai! Dono summer vacations mein yahaan aate the na! Isliye bahut time ek doosre ke saath spend kiya hai!" Maan looked at Anjali in surprise. He did not NK was this close to Geet! Maan did not meet him but had heard about him in his school days from Anjali. When she spoke about Aakash and Baby, she never forgot to mention NK. Anjali spoke up, "Infact, Baby ke ghar mein computer nahi tha toh woh school ke computer se NK ko emails bhejti thi aur College join karne ke baad toh dono ghanto webcam pe gappe ladaate the!" Maami piped up, "Hello Hi Bye Bye! Achcha hua Geet bitiya vacations mein lost hui gayi! Kyunki vacation ma Bitiya Bitwa se baat naahi karti na! Agar Caalej days ma memory lost hota toh unko online na dekhkar humra Bitwa toh do din ma iyyaan dhamak padta!" Naaniji and Anjali nodded somberly while Buaji and Amma smiled at the bond between NK and Geet. Even Daadi smiled at Maami's words. Only Maan seemed unhappy as he frowned trying to ignore the twinge in the heart at the thought of NK and Geet being so close.
Suddenly, Geet arrived into the hall holding a plate filled of smoking hot parathas in her hand. She placed the plate on the coffee table which was in the middle of the hall. A servant followed her with Jalebis in a plate and placed it on the table too. Everyone looked at the Parathas and Jalebis eagerly. Even though all had eaten breakfast just now, everyone felt their mouth watering at the dishes in front of them. Seeing the expression on their faces, Geet frowned, "Yeh sab aapke liye nahi hai!" Everyone looked at her as if she had announced them some kind of punishment. Geet huffed, "Yeh mere GM ke liye hai! Aur koi nahi khaayega ise!" "Mere?", Anjali looked at her mischievously and Geet rolled her eyes. Maan looked at her miffed. Mere? Daadima frowned, "Lekin Beta, Parathe aapne banaaye hai. Par Jalebiyaan kisne banaaye?" Madhumati Bua huffed, "Aur kaun hoga? Ee humri Sanka Devi!" She nudged Khushi with her elbow and Khushi pouted. Paayal spoke up, "Haan! Yeh Khushi ne kiya hoga! Ise jab bhi pareshaani ho ya khushi, ghussa ho ya dukhi, bas Jalebiyaan banaane baith jaati hai!" Everyone laughed at Khushi's antics and Khushi pouted again. Arnav smirked at her! He knew he was the reason behind her Jalebis! Enjoy everybody! If today morning was any indication as to what is going to happen in next few days, you are going to get to eat a lot of Jalebis! Maan looked away with anger. Hey Babaji! Yeh Geet us NK ke itne gun kyun ga rahi hai?
Suddenly, Annie frowned, "Waise Geet why are you calling him GM?" Geet smiled, "GM means Golmaal! Woh kya haina jab bhi NK hindi bolne ki koshish karta hai hamesha kuch na kuch ulta bolta hai! Golmaal kar deta hai! Isliye main use bachpan se Golmaal bulaati hoon!" Geet gave all of them a grin while Arnav rolled his eyes and everyone chuckled at Geet's antics. Anjali spoke up, "Arre! Sab ko bataaogi nahi ki woh tumhein kya bulaata hai!" Geet, to everyone's surprise, blushed deeply. Maan glared at her. Aisa kya bulaata hai woh jo yeh sharma rahi hai? Anjali giggled, "NK ise Patakka bulaata hai!" Everyone looked at her in shock including Maan. Patakka meant firecracker and Patakka was what boys called girls when they looked hot or sexy. It was considered a borderline slang. Maan felt his blood boil. Uski himmat kaise hui Geet ko aisa kuch bulaane ki? Anjali giggled again and spoke to everyone, "Arre! Ghabraayiye mat! NK ka woh matlab nahi tha! Jab NK aur Geet chote the tab humaare Chote NK ko bahut chedte the aur NK bechaare Chote ke pranks se bahut darte the! Tab Geet Chote se jhagadne aa jaati thi! Uski fighting spirit ko dekhke NK use Firecracker bulaata tha jo Geet ko samajh nahi aaya! Toh NK ne Firecracker ko hindi mein translate kiya aur Geet ko Patakka bulaane laga!" Everyone smiled at that but Maan's anger refused to go down. Arnav rolled his eyes at Geet, "Tumhaare liye woh Golmaal hoga par mere liye he is nothing but a Kabootar! Bas ab iski kami thi! Ab mujhe Motor Mouth aur Kabootar dono ko jhelna hoga!" Everyone chuckled at his complaint while Geet folded her arms against her chest and pouted.
Khushi eagerly smiled, "Waise aapke yeh Nandkishorji bade hi dilchasp insaan lagte hain!" Geet nodded and sat down beside Khushi. She eagerly told Khushi what a fantastic person NK was and Khushi absorbed it like a sponge. Now it was Arnav's turn to get shocked. Itna interest? Itna interest toh tumne meri life mein bhi nahi liya Afreen?
Suddenly, someone piped in an English accent, "Main aagaya Patakka!" Everyone turned to see a handsome young man in early twenties standing with a bag on his shoulder and another bag near his feet, his hands raised in the air as if he was SRK. Geet squealed, "GOLMAAL!" and ran towards him and as soon as she reached him, she hugged him tightly. Aakash looked at the duo in surprise, "Gale toh aise mil rahe hain jaise NK Raj ho aur yeh Simran! Gaur se sunoonga toh shaayad background mein DDLJ waala tune bhi bajega!" Everyone laughed as they got up to greet NK. Maamiji, who was walking beside Maan, chirped, "Hello Hi Bye Bye! Kitni achchi Jodi lag rahi hai in dono ki! Lagta hai Jiji se baat kareka padi!" Maan looked at her in shock and the shock turned into horror. Arnav, who was on Maan's other side, noticed Maan's expression and smiled. He adopted a look of innocence and spoke nonchalantly, "Haan! Dono achche dost bhi hai! Jodi achchi lagegi!" "Haina?", Maamiji looked at her nephew eagerly while Maan now looked at Arnav in horror. Arnav did not react and continued to walk all the while laughing inside.
Soon, NK had entered the house and was welcomed by the elders. He touched every elder's feet and hugged every family member. He was introduced to his future Bhabhi and was told that the other Bhabhi will be here soon. He was introduced to Shyam Jijaji who he had only seen through pictures and then he was introduced to the Khuranas. While he met and was met by every Khurana with sweetness and charm, when Maan gripped his hand for a handshake he almost crushed it with his anger. But NK did not react much except gulp and smile nervously. And then came the turn of introducing Guptas. The moment he was face to face he grinned eagerly, "You are so beautiful like a rose petal...", Khushi blushed and NK continued, "Pankhdi Julaab ki!" And everyone broke out laughing while Khushi looked at him in shock. Geet, who was standing right behind NK, spoke, "Dekh aap sabne! Mere GM ka golmaal! GM, Julaab nahi gulaab!" NK looked surprised, "Oh yes! Pankhdi Gulaab ki!" Khushi smiled happily at his words and Geet looked around only to see Arnav standing beside Anjali glaring at NK. She giggled and pranced towards him. She stood on his other side and whispered to him, "Sambhaal lo AB! Jald hi Khushi ka dil jeetlo warna yeh videsi Kabootar aapki maina ko seedha Australia le jaayega!" Arnav gave her a glare and she pouted and walked away. Anjali piped up to him, "Chote! Khushiji aur NK ki Jodi kitni achchi lag rahi hai, haina?" Now it was Arnav's turn to be horrified! He looked at his sister in horror. Hey Devi Ma! Yeh kya din dikha rahi ho mujhe? NK aur Khushi? No way! Main yeh nahi hone doonga! Khushi meri hai, sirf meri! But looking at NK flirting with Khushi, Arnav was starting to have doubts.
Soon NK entered the hall and his eyes fell on parathas and Jalebis. He grinned happily, "Meri Patakka ke haath ke parathe!" He walked towards it eagerly. He took one of the parathas, rolled it and took a bite. Anjali exclaimed, "Arre! Plate toh le lo!" NK shook his head and swallowed the bite, "Arre! Di! Aapko pata nahi maine iss parathe ko Aussie mein kitna miss kiya! You remember Patakka? I was 15 and you were 13 when we met last time and you had just learned to cook parathas! Wow! It was nearly noon when NK was able to enter his room. He only had time to freshen up as it was already lunch time and Maamiji had told him to come back immediately. As he walked outside of the room and neared the dining hall, he came across a dusky beauty dressed in traditional chudidaar looking like an angel coming from another corridor going the same way he was going. "Wow!", NK mumbled unknowingly. As the girl passed him, he spoke up cheerfully, "Hello Beautiful! I am NK!" The girl turned and gave him a smirk, "And I am taken!" She showed him the engagement ring in her hand and walked away. NK heaved a sigh as he stared at the girl. What a girl! Wow! But unfortunately already taken! For those who have forgotten the older chapters (which is possible coz I wrote the first chapter nearly two years back) here are the details about the older chapters I am referring to in the story.
